The Dunbar House Tea Shop
I went with a friend. The three teas we tried were all excellent, as was the extremely high-quality pate' plate we split. The toast was perfect: warmed to perfection, soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside and freshly made. My dessert (mint brownie-ice cream was heavenly; Julie's was a lemon tart that lacked much lemon flavor. We did have mis-matched spoons and rests, but it added to the charm and whimsy of a small shop such as this. We did come in on a cold, quiet day as she lives in the area and couldn't get her fiance to join her, so the service was rather slow. I believe they forgot we were there. The tables are very close, so it would be very difficult to move on a busy day. We enjoyed it enough to want to go again to enjoy the delicious food.
