If you are a person that likes thoughtful details, classic books, and food that pleases good cooks, this is the place to go. We always enjoy Donna's writing about the featured book, as well as Spenser's monologue AND her costume (this time a vintage pattern from 1910.) The scones with clotted cream and strawberry-rose jelly were amazing, as well as the blackberry turkey croissant, and (always!) the cucumber tea sandwich, and the orange blossom teacakes..... You can confidently bring friends and family here, and are assured of being welcomed and refreshed.
