Midastee Tea House
We definitely agree- a hidden gem!! We are regular customers after our first visit. Food is fresh, healthy and superbly flavored! Afternoon tea is generously proportioned and the drinks and tea selection are incredible. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very peaceful.

Elise's Tea Room
We went to Elise's for afternoon tea and were slightly disappointed. Looking at the website, we thought the food would be decadent. The scones seemed as if they were freezer-burned: very dry and tasteless. The sandwiches were average to good. But the atmosphere was disappointing. The room was not very clean, quite gaudy. It just was not what we expected. The server was extremely pleasant, but quiet. Even though there was a 'Chess club' playing in the next room, it was quiet. We do not plan on ever returning there...sorry.

Secret Garden Tea House
We visited two tea houses in Frisco, and found this one to be somewhat disappointing. The service took quite a while, and one of the microwaved finger foods smelled horrible! The parking is horrible (my husband had to run out to the meter about 1/2 mile around the corner), as usual in SF. But the server was extremely polite and a smile was on her face. I probably wouldn't return, especially for the price.
