Sweet Simplici-Tea
My husband and I walked into Simplici-Tea as we just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to see the local shops and get to know our neighbors. We didn't know what to expect when we first walked in and were a bit surprised by what we saw: a seriously Victorian tearoom! However, Lisa and Mary Beth were incredibly welcoming and after two minutes we felt right at home. We had amazing plum berry iced tea (my husband drank an entire carafe by himself and asked for the loose tea to take home, which Lisa had already packed up for us) and the turtle scones were to die for. Not only that, Lisa took the time to put a pad of butterscotch on the top, warmed them in the oven, and served them with homemade whipped cream and fruit. Both ladies were very friendly and took the time to chat and answer our newbie questions. The thought that went into everything did not go unnoticed! Thank you so much for your hospitality to the new coffee drinking neighbors up the street...you may turn us into tea drinkers before long!

Dear Alicia, Welcome to our new neighbors! We do howeve hope we convert you to Tea Drinkers, there are so many more varieties to choose from. Check out our website. We have many wonderful holiday events happening. Our scone flavors change monthly and we always have a variety on hand for purchase. Lisa and Maybeth are awesom, I agree.
