The Tudor House
Re: The pretentious review below this one -- go to the Peninsula Hotel if you want your 'tea poured' for you, your ladyship. It will come with the appropriate price tag ($48/person w/tip) and you'll get virtually no food. I have been going to Tudor tea room for over 30 years, and it is one of my favorites. The food is wonderful and plentiful, the tea is absolutely fine, the room is clean and homey with large windows and is attached to a lovely little shop. The service has never been a problem especially if Chris is waiting on you. I'll be there for my afternoon tea again soon.

Rose Garden Tea Room
I'm a member of the Huntington Gardens and I love this tea room. The buffet is wonderful with authentic English tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, cheeses, and desserts. Not to be missed.

British Emporium
Lovely British tearoom. The puddings are very good, they serve PJ Tips tea, which is one of my favorites, and it's very hot instead of lukewarm like so many other places. The service is prompt and friendly, and the little adjacent shop is lovely. Have been there twice when I'm out that way, and will always stop in for a cuppa when I'm in the area.
