This is an amazing tea room! It has really cute British decorations inside! The food is good and there is a wide variety of teas available. I was able to buy some loose leaf teas from there that are excellent!

Felt like we were outsiders to a private club. This alone stops me from saying anything else. What was supposed to be a special afternoon for myself and my daughter ruined.

On Mar 20th 2014 my daughter, 2 grandaughters ages 7 & 10 and myself had a Tea Party with our Dolls to celebrate my 70th Birthday at the Emerald Necklace Inn. It was AWESOME. The girls loved the 'Bubblegum' Tea, the butterfly PB&J sandwiches and the Mickey Mouse grilled cheese sandwiches.. the finishing touch the great cupcakes. I really enjoyed my'High Tea', the quiche was delicious and the finishing touch the chocolate mousee parfaits. Gloria and Anna made this a memory we will cherish for a very long time.

My visit here started outside on the beautiful grounds. The teahouse is tucked in a beautiful green area overlooking the metroparks. The landscaping is lovely and a great place to take pictures. We were a group of 4 including a mother, grandmother, teenager and 5 year old. We all loved our tea! The menu options were wonderful for all, even with one of us being a vegetarian and a picky 5 year old. My daughter was served her very own bubblegum flavored tea in a teapot just for her. We chose a green tea and a black tea and they were both equally as yummy. For lunch we had a fantastic salad with greens, strawberries mandarin oranges and a vinagrette dressing. The 5 year old had tomato basil soup and ate every last drop. Our second course was banana bread, scones and cranberry bread served with lemon curd and devonshire cream. We then had small sandwiches- Chicken salad, cucumber and a bruchetta. Our last course was dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Emerald Necklace Inn for all ages and food preferences. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and tolerant of a restless 5 year old. On our way out we purchase some bubblegum tea and a teapot just for my daughter! We cannot wait to go back!

We had booked a party to celebrate my Granddaughter's graduation from kindergarten. When we entered with our 5 week old grandson in his car seat/stroller combo the hostess said 'we can not accommodate that'. We asked if they had a highchair that the seat would fit in as some restaurants do. They did not. When we debated on what to do, the waitress said okay we will try to fit him in. It would have been understandable had the tea room been busy but the tea room had no other customers for the two hours we were dinning. The rude attitude was not necessary.

We celebrated a birthday at the Tea Room recently and had a wonderful experience. The owner and chef were cheerful and extremely knowledgable about their food and teas and the dining room was warm and welcoming.

A charming and cozy way to spend an afternoon. High tea is served in 3 courses and you definitely won't go away hungry. The 1st course of soup is actually my favorite part of the dining experience. Everything is made onsite, with an in-house pastry chef. Upon entering, you are greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The list of loose leaf teas to choose from is quite extensive and includes many speciality teas made with black, green, red or white tea leaves as well as a large selection of herbal teas. Each time I have dined here it has been an excellent experience. I highly recommend this as the best High Tea experience in the area.

Charming tea room for a relaxing afternoon. The food was good and served on various antique dishes. The loose leaf tea menu is extensive, with jars of tea leaves for sale in the extensive gift shop. Gloria stopped by my table to say hello and visit a bit about visiting tea rooms.

As an organizer of a Cleveland Tea Group, Emerald Necklace was one of the most requested Tea Rooms for the group. My group of ladies had a wonderful time. Amazing selection of teas, and Gloria is very knowledgeable tea and even pairing with food. I was very impressed and I look forward to going back in the future. Perfect place for an Afternoon Tea with girlfriends. The room is large enough to fit 12-16 people comfortably without feeling like you are sitting on top of each other.

High tea at the Emerald Necklace Inn is the perfect thing for a fun, cute afternoon/early evening. There's a huge selection of delicious teas to choose from that anyone will be able to find a tea they will love. All the food was presented so cute and there was lots of it. Perfect little portions of each thing, all in all we had I think 14 different things to eat from start to finish, and we were all very satisfied by the end! The owner, Gloria, and her staff were all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We loved our time in their tea room and will definately be returning! It's well worth it!

Three of us visited the tearoom for a birthday celebration. We previously had never heard of The Emerald Necklace Tearoom and were very pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Gloria, the owner, greeted us enthusiastically and showed us around. We had a delicious lunch which was not only delicious, but beautifully presented and surprisingly filling! One in our party had special dietary requirements which we had told
Gloria about when we made the reservations, and they accommodated her extremely graciously, even preparing a special soup for her. Gloria helped us select three different teas which we all shared and enjoyed as well. And the desserts!!!!Wail until you see the adorable chocolate mouse! The ambiance was Victorian and very charming. The table settings and accessories are changed to reflect the time of year and the attention to detail was wonderful. We were not rushed at all and were able to enjoy our time very leisurely. Afterward we took a look at the guest suites and they were beautifully appointed and looked to make a nice romantic stay. Lots of cute tea related items in the gift shop as well. I am looking forward to returning for another delicious high tea and I am thinking of having my daughter's 'Sweet Sixteen' party here.

Upon entering, the music was very somber, sounding as if I were in a funeral home which dampened the spirit. The room had not warmed up, so we had to sit with our coats on. The food, though, was very good and tasty - served hot and fresh. The teas were excellent and they had a nice variety. I think if the tea room had been cheerier and warmer, I would have enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, it's not on my list of places to visit again.

I visited Emerald Necklace Tea Room and giftshop hoping to purchase a few gifts. As I entered the establishment, I was taken off guard, as there was a large group of people waiting in the 'gift shop' area. I was rudely greeted by the owner, and aked if I was taking up one of the parking spaces. I new very well that I was not welcome there, even though I tried to explain I just wanted to look around the gift shop to make a purchase. I still cannot believe in this economy that a shop owner could afford to be as rude as she was. I will never, ever step foot in that place again. There are way too many businesses that I can take my hard earned money and spend it. I have never in my 50 years of life been treated so rudely especially at a place of business. I will return to Molly's in Medina where they have an exceptional assortment of beautiful teapots and tea cups or Remember When in Kirtland that has a wonderful gift shop and the food is out of this world. I always feel welcome at Remember When and I have to remember it is well worth the drive to Kirtland.
I rated the teas, food and artistry as poor, because I couldn't even get past the door!

This is a Bed and Breakfast, hair salon, gift shop and tea room. I think the owner would be better focusing on one business. The tea room is lovely but the food is not very good. It is expensive for what you get. The scones were cold and tasteless. The tea sandwiches were not very special. Would not go back. The gift shop was cheap looking nick nacks. She does have a selection of tea but the shop turned me off so that I did not even bother to look. Also, having a hair salon in the same building as a tea room is not very inviting.

WOW My wife and I had a great night sleep at this comfortable bed and breakfast. We felt like the whold place was our victorain home. Breakfast was served by a lovely young woman Anna, and Gloria the innkeeper seemed to know all of our needs before we knew them. The afternoon tea we had was superior to most of the teas we have been to. The emerald necklace inn was a true gem.

My husband and I took both of our mothers as well as my father-in-law and sister-in-law to the Emerald necklace for a Mother's Day tea. The owner is very kind and we all had a delightful time. The tea selection was not as extensive as some tearooms offer, but owner's sweet and gracious attitude and our surroundings more than made up for that. We fully intend to return.

Emerald Necklace Tea Room was fantastic! It was just what the doctor ordered after our group had been training all week. The server was accommodating, music was soothing and the food was delicious! This was truly a tea room EXPERIENCE. We were there for about 2.5 hours (of course we had a group of six). The portions were generous and we had time to digest our food in between the servings. What I enjoyed best about Emerald Necklace were the tea warmers. Most tea rooms only have the tea cozies. My tea was still steaming hot after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Also, they actually had sugar cubes with thongs...not a sugar bowl with a contaminated spoon OR sugar packets (so impersonal).I can't say enough about Emerald Necklace. All of my colleagues enjoyed their experience and several were 'tea room virgins'. Needless to say...they are hooked. I only hope that every other tea room they encounter will be as pleasant as Emerald Necklace. If you are ever visiting Cleveland (they are not far from the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame) this is a wonderful experience. We loved it! Great job Gloria!
