We were on vacation and I took my daughter,2 daughter-in-laws and 5 granddaughter to tea. We had a fabulous time. We were treated like
very graciously. They have a hat tree and you can choose a hat to wear that was so much fun. The owners did a great job explaining anything we wanted to know. I made the reservation well in advance and they knew just what the little girls and adults would enjoy. I would highly recommend this Tea Room.

Although we weren't able to have tea because that required advance reservations which we didn't know we had a wonderful lunch. This could be described as a guy's tea room! There were sandwiches, fries and other manly meals available. But you do get your choice of tea and they have a large variety.
The food was absolutely fabulous. I had the quiche and I've never had one better. The presentation was perfect. The menu, as with most tea rooms, is very pricey but because it was so delicious and such a treat you don't mind.
The decor was beautiful; since it was a holiday weekend they were very busy. I've never seen a hostess work so hard and she was very friendly speaking with regulars and new customers as if they were old friends.
The only negatives - my personal pet peeves - is the sugar and creamer in the individual wrappers which make a mess on the table. Either use the in the bowl stuff or provide a nice bowl to deposit the trash in. I also am a big fan of real silver instead of nondescript stainless.
All in all this is one of the nicest places we've been and the food was definitely in the top ten. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place to have high tea. I didn't want to leave. The atmosphere added to the delicious food and oh so pleasant people working there. First class. Hope to spend another fine day with you when I return to Big Bear.

Just loved this place. Found a beautiful tapestry I'll give as a Christmas gift, and had some delicious soup with my egg-salad sandwich. Tea was jasmine green. My daughter and I split the lemon cake and about died and went to heaven. Very charming atmosphere; a nice change from the logs-and-bears motif at many other Big Bear establishments. Nice background music, as well.

This was our 2nd trip for tea and it was just as wonderful if not more than the last time. We are the Black Hat Society and urge everyone to take the trip to Big Bear, enjoy the fantastic tea or lunch, and visit with the wonderful owners and servers. Couldn't ask for a better time.

This is an excellent Tea room and the waitress and owner, who is usually, there are so friendly and accomodating. A great destination for your Red Hat Chapter is you are coming up this way. The deco and shopping are a great addition to make a wonderful experience.

We were 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'ing from the moment we entered the front door. The decor is charming, providing a wonderful shopping experience. Be sure to check out the window treatments, hand-made by the owner herself. She loves to exchange decorating, craft and pattern ideas. This shop is a must-do when in Big Bear!

On August 16th, Morongo Basin Historical Society Presidents' Wife, Program Chair & co-Chairs were delighted with our tea luncheon. Very delightful atmosphere, great service and delightful tasty sandwiches, desserts, soup and creative salad.
Food was well presented!

My 'high tea' buddy and I have been to over 30 tea rooms all over California and the Mill Creek Manor is our favorite. Of all the tea rooms we have been to, they have the best service, ambiance food and tea selection. I just love the staff and the 'shopping selection' in the tearoom. I go up to Big Bear at least twice a year and I never miss a trip to this tearoom whenever I am up there.

A number of ladies from High Desert Church in Victorville,Ca were in Big Bear for the Women's Retreat.
Since our Mother/Daughter Tea was coming up we were brousing for Tea Serevices and related items.
What a treasure! Not only did we find the perfect items, but we could not wait to share the information with other women at home having similar needs.

A prospective Tearoom owner
We own property in Castle Glen and we have been up and down the mountain for two years now, but have just recently discovered this tearoom. We had a lovely time. The exterior was very cute with lots of colorful flowers. Inside is just beautiful. Lots and lots of stuff to see and buy. The food was very good. We had the High Tea - it included soup and salad. That day the soup was tomato tortellini. It was very nice. My favorite was the desserts - just fantastic. Lots of it and very good. The scone was the best I had. It was fresh and crispy. We did not get to meet the owner. But we hear she has been in the business of 26 years in las vegas. It really shows. We thoroughly enjoyed this Tearoom.

I was staying up in Big Bear for a few days and went with my sister and we enjoyed the afternoon tea so much we came back with 8 more of the family a few days later. The service was excellent, the food was probably the best I've had at a tea room and I've been to many tea rooms, specifically the house tea, the gingerbread and the scones. you can also shop around the store and buy things, and it's set up in such a way that it's not cluttery but very classy. And you can't beat the price! I will definetley be going out of my way to return!

I was so happy to return to my home town and see such a beautiful tea room. They have exceptional service and the food is devine. I love Big Bear, I will always call it home. Now, I meet my sister there to have tea and talk a while before I head into town! If anyone is ever in the area this is a nice place to eat and relax before you head into town. It is not so rush rush busy like some of the other resteraunts.
