  We went there for afternoon tea to celebrate Valentine's Day. You do have to get a reservation, but staff was very accomodating and it was worth it. The tea service was excellent, as were the finger sandwiches and sweets! Each table had it's own china set. We'd love to go back! Don't forget to try the bakery nextdoor, Biscotti's.

  I was a little dissapointed to find out that the White Dove only takes reservations. So since my father and I were dropping in we were had to wait almost 2 hours since that was when we were told would be the best time (even though it didn't appear there was anyone sitting in or who had reserved the only table for two in the entire tea room). But it was okay once we actually sat down. The price was fitting for the food recieved, but I wouldn't say it was the finest tea service I have had. I would consider visiting again when in town and at the request of others, but I'm not sure if I would travel a long distance for the White Dove.

  I brought my sister-in-law for Formal Tea. I was visiting from Las Vegas. The afternoon was superb!!! The food & service were awesome!! Can't wait to visit you again.

  The high tea here is fabulous! The presentation is wonderful. The food is abundant in flavor and the scones are absolutely to die for!!I have had high tea from London to Las Vegas and this place is my favorite. Everyone must try the specialty dinners offered monthly.

  I have only praise for this tea room. I have been there four or five times for different types of food and each time the selection, service and taste were magnificent. I have done everything from formal teas to a quick lunch snack. I can not recommend it enough.

  A little treasure in Syracuse. The staff was friendly and helpful -- just superb! Our lunch was delightful -- out of the ordinary, not over done or pretentious, just delicious -- just perfect! There were actually decent choices for vegetarians. The tea was outstanding and the coffee was too. Save room for desert, you don't want to miss it, whatever you pick will be outstanding! WE HAVE happily (and gratefully) ADDED the White Dove to our very SHORT LIST of OUT OF THE ORDINARY places to eat in Central New York!

  Our Red Hat Society women's group went to a formal tea at this lovely tearoom a few months ago. Everything was delightful. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, and welcoming. When they learned I did not like tea in the past, they made up some special kinds for me to taste. The scones were fresh from the oven and the clotted cream was just divine. Everything they served was scrumptious. It is an experience everyone should have at least once in their life. I will be taking my daughter and daughter-in-law there for a special treat soon.
