I have visited the Tea Room many times and it never disappoints. The ambience is wonderful with hats, beautiful teapots/teacups, and lovely furniture throughout the room.
The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff goes above and beyond to make it a great experience. I love taking friends here.

The things I know about Tea Cart is their events. You see events quite often listed - They are basically themed teas. (I've been to one - it was great fun! I've wanted to go to others, but haven't made it out yet.)
The staff is quite knowledgeable, the teas and the atmosphere are great!
They are a great tea house!

This tea shop offers several different levels of tea service. We had The Royal Ascot. It was a lot of food, but everything was wonderful. The meal starts with soup, followed by a mini pie, then the 3-tier tray. We had as much tea as we wished to drink. The servers were in adorable outfits and everyone was very friendly. The shops interior is also very charming.

My daughter and I attended a 'Downton Abbey' tea, at the end of the PBS Series. We had a wonderful time. Lots of fun, with trivia about the show. Wonderful food, teas, and the atmosphere is 'spot on'.

I was lucky to share a pre-holiday tea with two friends at this beautiful, new tearoom. The food was superb starting with carrot soup followed by four kinds of sandwiches (very fresh), delicious scones with jam and clotted cream and six kinds of sweets. We sampled two kinds of tea: Holiday Winter Spice and Shenandoah Blue, the house blend, and loved both of them. Julie was gracious and helpful - encouraging us to think about returning for upcoming special events. I will definitely return soon. I highly recommend The Tea Cart.
