When my daughter was a college student at Davis, we took her here for a birthday tea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, their outdoor garden is a nice place to enjoy your tea on a nice day. She enjoyed her birthday tea.

I was so excited to find a tearoom in Davis and it didn't disappoint. As a matter of fact, I love this place!
There's a wide variety of teas and they're brewed to perfection. (They give you a timer and instructions to let your tea steep until the timer runs out. As someone who is almost obsessive about letting tea steep as long as it needs to and no longer, I love this little detail.) The finger sandwiches are delicious, and the scones and dessert items are sublime, and made from scratch.

By far my favorite tea room and definitely my favorite restaurant in general. This little shop is home away from home, and I would come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day of the year if I could. Large variety of loose teas, from green to black to white to herbal. As for food, the owner does just about EVERYTHING from scratch. Homemade devonshire, scones, napoleons -- you name it. The finger sandwiches are to die for, from the classic cream cheese and cucumber to artichoke heart with hummus to curried chicken salad to balsamic grilled vegetable. In addition, the Tea List caters to all dietary/allergy needs. The outdoor patio is surrounded by a gorgeous garden, twinkle lights adorn the shop front and Edith Piaf can be heard signing in the background. This place is a MUST. Definitely stop by and you'll be hooked forever.

Wonderful cozy atmosphere. Amazing variety of teas. I am from London and love High Tea. Never thought I would find the best High tea I have ever had in Davis,Ca
The owner cooks most things herself, her Napoleon is to die for. She also serves wonderful soups sandwiches at lunchtime. I you are anywhere near Davis, find this place. I warn you it is addictive.

A friend and I visited this charming shop today for 'a spot of tea'. I found the experience quite pleasurable. The food was fresh and presented well with an explanation of all that was laid before us. There weren't as many tea selection but it would only be because everything on the tea menu was either organic or on the natural side. A big plus for me! I know others might be fearful to go to a place not so quite traditional, but they shouldn't. The intimacy of the shop and the overall experience was top notch. I would have liked to have my tea refilled at brakeneck pace but other than that I cannot complain.

We had a small business meeting there on October 8, 2010 and it was our first visit. It is a small tea room, but very cute and there is additional seating outside. The customer service was excellent and the food was very good and fresh. They served traditional tea sandwiches such as cucumber/mint, chicken salad, and a turkey/cheese combination.
They offer a nice variety of black, green, rooibos, and white teas. We tried an Organic Lemongrass Black tea, a Jasmine Green tea, Genmaicha, and a Vanilla Bourbon Street Rooibos tea. We enjoyed all of them.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.
