Came here after I found a deal on amazon.com. I didn't realize there was a tea place so close to me. I was glad I purchased the deal. I ordered the pear spice tea, which was excellent. I also ordered the English tea with my friend. The assortment of food great. My personal favorite was a sandwich called the William. I also loved the raspberry tart.

I disagree with Erin. I brought my daughter here because she loves tea. She recently gave birth and needed a relaxing meal. This place was perfect. The selection of teas was overwhelming. I wanted to try each one. The food came out on beautiful floral tiered stands. I enjoyed the variety of scones and madeleines. I also loved the freshly prepared sandwiches, and the pastries were adorable. The staff was so informative and friendly. I would highly recommend this place, and already have sent my friends who have also fell in love!

I took my girlfriend here because we enjoy having tea together along with the delicious pastries, however, this place was not what we had expected. For a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty quiet (just us and another table of three people) We ordered the tea for two, which to my surprise, only came with one scone. When the food came out, the scones were more like tea cakes, which looked as though they were heated up in the microwave, because they were hard like a hockey puck! Everything was purchased elsewhere, and nothing looked homemade, except for the egg salad sandwich, which was stuffed in a croissant. There was plenty of food for the two of us, however, this was not 'high tea' and the service was quite disappointing. We will not be returning here again.

While the service took a bit of time, our tea was well prepared, the sandwiches were delicious, the scones were better than many places I've had them and the desserts were to die for! Would like to see clotted cream offered with the traditional scones. While I 'get' the soft pink walls and classical music as an ambiance, they both need to be jazzed up a bit. The decor is overly girly and simple, the music too slow and sleepy. On the whole, it was a comfortable experience with good food and I'd recommend it for an afternoon with the ladies.

First time at a tea room, but it won't be the last. I had a great time because I felt transported outside of the hussle and bussle and into an old world experience (a well decorated tea room) with a modern time twist (variety in teas and food). The added bouns is that there is no one pushing you to leave, just sipping on the tea and eating the food at your own pace.
