The food was delicious and very reasonable priced compared to other tea rooms. They sell a large vary of loose teas. We tried the snowflake black tea and the Caramel Rooibos. I was not fond of the Rooibos, but that’s me. Teapots were smaller than I’m use too. You can get more hot water. We would definite come again as the food looked good and tasted exceptionally good.

I really enjoyed tea here with my aunt. Good service and good food and good tea. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good afternoon tea experience and is in the Lancaster, PA area. They also sell loose leaf teas - decent selection.

Have been there several times. Awesome food and reasonable price. Service is great. Huge variety of loose tea available for sale to enjoy. Highly recommended. Our ladies group looks forward to going there again in the near future.

Lovely! We can't wait to go back. The Turkey and Stuffing Encroute , Sweet potato puffs, Beer batter scallop sliders, and Chicken salad on pineapple bread were all AMAZING! The desserts were out of this world. The attention to detail is A .

We had a party of sixteen, and among us we had four different dietary restrictions. They were very accommodating and had absolutely no problem taking care of all of us. The food was delicious! We had a wonderful time and have been talking about doing it again.

This is a very pleasant tea room. I really like the tiny sliders! Though, I wish they'd serve the scones, which are wonderful, on different plates then the salad and sliders, just so the flavors don't mix. I also really enjoyed the lemon curd, which I had never had before. I wish I lived closer!

My cousin and I visited about a year ago to celebrate her birthday. We are still talking about how much we enjoyed it. The staff is truly wonderful and the food delicious!

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea/lunch gathering here with family members that ranged in age from 8 - 89. We were so pleased to be able to order off the menu and accommodate the youngest (with sliders), the oldest (with fish & chips) and the tea enthusiast (with the three tiered tea tray). From milk shakes to Ti kuan yin, we were all happy! Perhaps not your 'typical' English Tea Room, this tea room certainly met all our needs to a T.

With 5 years of tea room business experience in two different MD tea rooms as a server and baker, I visited this tea room yesterday. I was excited about the 150 varieties of teas that were purportedly offered. However, I had to ASK for this menu. It's a special one, and then don't offer it readily. It was like pulling teeth to get the server to bring it out. Needless to say, the service was poor. The server made my boyfriend get up to check what kind of tea he wanted and seem put out by questions. She had no idea what desserts were being offered. I would have never been this way to a customer. Service is essential in the tea business. Your goal is to make the customers feel special, so read up on your tea selections and daily desserts. Tea is an experience. This is not Chili's. She was young, so perhaps this was her excuse. The one thing that sets tea rooms apart is how the high tea itself is presented. Completely lackluster and disappointing. Tea should be properly steeped using a tea timer BEFORE bringing it to a patron. Period. I should not have to time it myself and then fish out a wet tea bag and set it on the table (no plate was offered, and the wet bag sat there the entire time). The cups and saucers were glass (which does not hold heat the way fine china does), and nothing matched. Taking tea is an art, and decor and proper, elegantly appointed place settings are a huge part of this art. The overal ambience was confusing - are we in a barn? Porch? Not surprisingly, the food was lacking. There were no scones. Scones should always be offered and not be an option. And no clotted cream. What is high tea without clotted cream? The food looked inventive and ambitious when it came out on the very large (too large for the table) tier, but the taste of the meal fell flat on the palate. Everything tasted the same. Sad to say that 40 bucks later, we did not have a good experience.

Beautiful setting. Adequate service. Food was disappointing. Nothing special and the desserts literally had no flavor. High tea didn't even include scones which was a huge disappointment. We had an interesting/ok time, but will not go back.

My husband and I arrived here in the middle of the afternoon and had a late lunch. Our food was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. His oolong and my black tea were both very good and the service was excellent. They also carry Hues and Brews teapots and adorable creamers along with a nice variety of teas. I hope to stop here again during our visits to the area.

My friend and I from Virginia searched online and decided on Sugarplums and Tea in the Lancaster area. I have to say that our server, Becky, was very pleasant and accomodating. The presentation was also nice (we couldn't resist purchasing a few cream dispensers). Although I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of my tea, the food was only average. I would love to go back, in hopes of seeing a few positive changes in that area. The black bean soup, bread, and poppyseed scone were very tasty. The grilled cheese, meatballs, chicken salad, tiny BLT, and sweets were average.

Our tea club recently had tea here. The food was wonderful and very filling. There was an error in the count for reservations and they were very gracious in adding 3 more teas!! Very accommodating. Service was excellent in a beautiful setting. Please visit this tea room if you have not been there. I definitely will return.

I had my surprise bridal shower tea at the former location at Rockvale Square, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, as well as the large tea selection. I felt the price reasonable compared to other locations I've been to; however, for the quantity of food you get, I would expect a little more. Overall, worth going (especially for the Hawaiian chicken salad, which is phenomenal!).

This is a nice place to visit--good atmosphere, good food, good for all ages. My teen-age daughter even had her last birthday party there, and they all enjoyed the experience. This new location can also service more people--just make sure you make a reservation if you are going for lunch!
