This was, indeed, a lovely tea room and we deeply regret its closing. And yes, many listings are outdated. I know the following are closed, some have been for YEARS: Treasured Tea Time, Hina's, Lady Lords, A Fine Time for Tea, August Tea Room, Mistletoe & Roses. But the most annoying thing about teamap is that Subscribe ad that keeps popping up, obscuring the info we try to read! Patricia Hogan

Took my cousin for her birthday on 8/28.Very disappointed. Tea sandwiches were tuna, egg salad, and chicken salad, not my idea of some fancy sandwiches.I had told them it was her birthday, nothing special done. But, 2 other ladies did get cnadles and they did not have the full tea lunch.Sure miss the New castle one.Sorrry I was hoping you would be good so, I could take people there in the furture or tell people to go there, I am sorry to say I will not be doing that.

Today was my third time at this little jewel of a tea house. My girlfriends treated me for my birthday and it was a 'treat' as always. The quiche was delicious and perfect. The scone was so light and yummy and I wanted more! The ice tea was delicious and refreshing. And the atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a girl's lunchtime chat. Thank you for such a fun time!

Jeanene makes the best cream scones we have ever had ANYWHERE! We had four different types of tea and enjoyed them all, especially the Masala Chai. The Victorian atmosphere was enhanced by the three lovely ladies who served us. The classical music set the tone for a relaxing afternoon. A place to which we would happily return!

This is a wonderful tearoom and is rated very highly by my friends and me. The food is outstanding and the service is top notch. The quiche and scones are the best in the area. The one problem that I've encountered is that very few people know about this outstanding tearoom. It's always a treat when we drive here from Sacramento for tea.

I was also at this teahouse on 9/20 (noonish) attending a function with a large group of ladies and we had a wonderful time. We ordered off the lunch menu and the food and service was excellant. In fact, it was so much fun, we decided to have our Christmas get together there. Thanks and hang in there, we loved everything (even the smell of the homemade tomato soup cooking in the kitchen).

I just went over to this location this morning at 11am with a friend. We were the only people in the place and when greated the woman said 'what do you want?' We let that go and asked for a table and found out that you can't get tea sandwiches for tea unless you order a day or so earlier which is crazy. You don't know what you want the day before. Also, it smelled of vinegar or something very sour in the place. Not sure what that was about. Last, they don't have Scottish Breakfast tea which is the best dark tea ever.
After the reception we received, I don't think I will go back. We left without buying anything. In the end, I don't think this person wanted our money or she would not have treated us this way.

Thank you for a delightful afternoon! The afternoon was delightful. I am looking forward to returning. The food was excellent and filling. The rooms were cute and relaxing. The service was personal and comforting. My friends and I were able to sit and share while sipping a cup of tea. We loved the ice tea with the sugar rim! Thank you.

I surprised three friends with a visit to this cute Victorian tea shop. We were all pleased with our high tea meal. The gracious hostess and owner showed lots of special touches - flowers on food plates, multi-colored sugar rimmed ice tea glasses, warming stands for teapots. Each person was served two each of three types of yummy finger sandwiches. We drove 45 minutes to this shop and wouldn't hesitate to return for another tea time.

This was my first visit to My Cup of Tea, and it was very enjoyable. Loved the food and atmosphere. There was more than enough delicious food, and I even brought some home. Enjoyed all the small touches: flowers on the food trays, a cup for unwanted tea, burners for the tea pot, and the lovely service. Try the ice tea! It was great for those of us living in the Sacramento area. Am looking forward to a return visit.

This place was a true gem! I went with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and my 4 year-old daughter. They indulged our party while we tried on their hats and accessories. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. I wish this place was closer to my home in San Clemente. A true find...a real 10!
