Beautiful place. Love the variety of food and teas. The theme teas are our favorite. Mystery Tea, The Hat Ladies, Vintage Clothing, Kentucky Derby and all the others make an excellent experience. We stumbled upon Victorian Lady by accident about 6-7 years ago and now we try to go several times a year. Rave reviews for Carol and her staff. You MUST try Victorian Lady.

Every visit is a special occasion, whether it is for a relaxed cream tea to chat with a friend, to a high tea for a treat, or one of the well planned events, reserved in advance and looked forward to with anticipation. Tea sandwiches are savory and flavorful, cookies light and dainty, scones are the best I've ever had and any special extras like fruits or soups are always amazing. The tea selection is wide and the presentation of everything is superb. It outshines any other tea parlor that I have visited.

I took my mother and 7 year old daughter to the candlelight tea. The decorations were fabulous and the atmosphere cozy and inviting. A variety of tea was served (all wonderful). The food was delicious, plentiful and well presented. We were served a variety of tea sandwiches, cookies and scones. Also a fantastic soup. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to return!

I have been to many Tea Parlors. None compare to The Victorian Lady of Academy Hill. Carol, the owner, creates an atmosphere that is absorbing. Before you know it, you yourself begin to feel gracious and beautiful...just like Carol and the wonderful people with her. Her loose teas are delicious and brewed to piping-hot perfection. All of her foods are very good, but none more so than her scones, made by Vivian her baker, who we sometimes see when she chooses to leave the kitchen. Vivian's sconses are served directly from the oven and are second to none. They are the standard by which every scone should be compared. But what prompted this writing is this. Yesterday was one of Carol's special events where she does things a little differently and yet a little more elaborate. The event was A Sparkling Wedding Tea. Carol was serving a berry Fruit Punch on the sun porch. On a table nearby her two ornate Tea urns held Darjeeling and Royal Wedding teas. Behind them were hat boxes fashioned like wedding cake tiers which added to the gaity of the wedding theme. In addition to the foods Carol typically serves for her Teas, Vivian had baked and decorated for each a white almond wedding cake cupcake with Raspberry filling. We all felt like Brides. What's more, we also were treated to a presentation of vintage wedding gowns fromt the 1890's to the 1960's by Vintage Fashions Collector Patti Peer. What an afternoon!

This place is delightful! The only request I do have is that they extend their menu if you wanted to order quiches or soups that would be a nice addition. The decor is beautiful and I had a wonderful time.

I made my 1st visit to the Victorian House before Xmas, and fell in love with this most spectacular, warm, elegant, and most welcoming tea room. I loved the cinnamon spiced tea Carol had for the holidays and ended up purchasing 8 bags. If anyone has the opportunity this is the place you want to come to, you wouldn't be sorry.

Seven of us drove from Pittsburgh to have tea here today and we couldn't have been more pleased. The place is just beautiful, the food great and the owner and her staff charming. We will be back.

I have been to this tearoom twice and the two words that best describe it in my opinion are 'sheer elegance'! The home is decorated beautifully and there are many wonderful victorian accessories to purchase either for you home or yourself.

I've been to the Tea Parlor twice and both times were simply wonderful! It is like time stands still while we drink our tea, eat delicious food and talk away the hours! I always go home with a new & delicious tea.

I brought my mother and grandmother here in February and we had a great time. The tea was wonderful and we enjoyed browsing through the gift shop. It was a memorable experience that we hope to repeat.

Last fall we had my daughters baby shower at the Academy Hill Tea Parlor. I must say it was a very unique experience and one that will not soon be forgot for all who attended. There were 32 guests and we all were cared for wonderfully. The food and teas, plus the atmosphere were unique and a wonderful diversion from the typical baby shower. Thank you so much for the care and flexibility to work with us. Future events will be definitely be considered for your establishment. Thanks again,
