My sister and I visted Lovejoy's again for tea - we visit everytime we are in the area. The tea and food were excellent - as always. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed talking to the owner about tea and England. She was very accommodating to our needs and even took our picture when we asked her too - even suggested that she take some more before we left. We recommended it to other people who were staying where we were and they enjoyed the whole experience too. I look forward to my next visit.

My Grandsons and I visited this tearoom and we all loved it, including the Grandson that does not like tea. The food, atmosphere and service were very good. We come to florence each year for the boys to sandboard and Lovejoys's will be on are list of places to go.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at Lovejoys We shared the Royal Tea and the orange chicken lunch special. Delicious and the best meal of our trip! We had loose leaf Earl Grey tea.The tea was huge. It started off with a large green salad with a tasty dressing and sunflower seeds on top. Next to that was a grain salad with fresh herbs. My sandwiches and sausage rolls were tasty. The scone was perfect and came hot from the oven with creme fresh, jam and home made lemon curd. Mmm. Desert was a petifour and chocolate biscut. The orange chicken came with soup or salad and we had the veggie chicken soup. It was awsome. The orange chicken was in a sweet, spiced marmalade sauce and was served with a spiced rice. My husband said it reminded him of Christmas dinner. Everything was beautifully presented but not too fussy. The owners were very friendly and service was great.

This was a very nice tea service. The selection of teas was well-rounded, enough selections to be interesting with out it being an over whelmingly long list. The staff was very friendly and polite. I really enjoyed their tea sandwiches; the pear, walnut and cheese sandwich being my personal favorite (Iam not normally a fan of pears, but these where very flavorful and fairly firm) I didnt have any of the hot menu items, but their quiche looked and smelled very good.

I took a friend and her daughter for there first tea. The daughter and her friend absolutely loved it. The teas were very tasty and all of the food was wonderful! The owner and her husband were very delightful! I will definately be frequenting Lovejoys as often as I can. It is truely worth the 2 1/2 hours it takes me to get there. I would definately recommend it to anyone.

I took a friend to tea at Lovejoy's and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The sandwiches were more traditional English style...simple, tasty and fresh. Both savories were delicious but we both especaillly loved the sausage rolls, which were served with a delicious mixed greens salad. The scones were delicious and were served with my double devon and lemon curd. Petit fours rounded out the tea. The tea room is charming and the service timely and friendly.Everyone's expectations of a tea room are different but I will say that this tea experience met all of mine!
