Haven’t been here recently but I’ve been here many times in the past. I love the owner she’s great and accommodating. This tea parlor is affordable, friendly and traditional. Overall great afternoon tea experience. Also if you have kids they are kid friendly too. K bye

This is the most charming Teahouse I have ever been in. Nothing can surpass this. The variety of teas took up the whole page on the menu. The food was so tasty, and beautifully prepared. I have taken several friends there. Each one has told me the same thing. They have never experienced such a charming place. And the owner treats everyone there as if they were VIPs. She is always there to be sure your tea pot is still warm enough and if you need anything. Can you tell that I LOVE this place? I am going to join FACEBOOK just to pass this on. Sincerely, B.G.

I was delighted with this tea parlor a few years back when the original owner ran the place. They tied up stacks of sandwiches with ribbons and the variety of food was amazing (I still remember this one carrot sandwich that was fantastic). Based on those memories, I booked a reservation for my family and expected to show them a great time. We were sorely disappointed. The staff was not accommodating at all about where we could sit (we were a big party, you would think they would be delighted that we were giving them business) and all of the treats were those that I could have sampled at Costco. I didn't see any sign of the original owner (I forget her name; she had red hair and used to be a hairdresser before she opened up the tea parlor), so I don't know what's going on and why the business seems to have gone downhill. Don't get me wrong, the place is still cute, but the food was ugh and the service was blah. We have never returned and I had to apologize to my parents and siblings for putting them through that miserable experience.

Make a reservation before going. I showed up with out one even though they still accommodated me when I arrived they did make a comment about checking to see if there are enough scones before they sat us.
Friendly service, yummy scones.

My friend and I had a pretty good time at this particular tea house. She had never done the tea experience before, so she really liked it. The waitress was friendly. The scones were warm and soft. A large selection of tea. The sandwiches were mediocre. The only bad thing was, the food was brought out very slowly, considering we were the only ones there. For the price, an extra scone would have been nice. However, I would come back again.

This was my first 'tea' experience. I refuse to let this bad experience ruin my hope of enjoying the next one. From everything I have heard, I assumed the food would be home-made. Costo bought cookies, mini eclaires and cream puffs??? The Campbells tomato soup with stewed tomatoes added was dreadful. The mini salad was served in a tiny cheap Correl white bowl, and water came (much later) - in plastic cups. Although the shop had 3 small fans blowing from the top of the shelves, drinking tea in San Dimas can get warm. We all were 'glowing' and not from happiness. Sorry - after browsing on line and seeing pictures of different tea houses, this one lacks ambiance. One more thing - no smiles or warmth from the two women running/serving our party. Small and cramped. No wonder we were the only party there from 2-5:30 on a Saturday.

We visit a new Tea Room every month (or more often) This is definitely of the Victorian 'ilk'. The ambience was very pleasant the food was average or better.. nothing was outstanding, but than nothing was poor. The service was excellent. Our server was the owner's daughter and she was extremely efficient and VERY pleasant. She is an asset to the business. Altho' this is a small shop, we all managed to ALSO find something to purchase...there is a nice little selection of tea items, such as cups, spoons and TEA for sale. She also has a selection of Red Hat items.A nice little tea experience.

A pleasant enough experience, a little cramped but the service was pleasant. The food was average, the scones were more like tops of muffins than true scones. The sandwiches were so-so and the desserts were store bought Pepperidge Farm cookies and Costco cream puffs. They did include a chocolate covered strawberry which was nice. The soup was the best part. It's a nice enough tea experience if you are in the area but because of the the food & price, I wouldn't make a trip out of my way. Also, this is listed as a 'British' tea house on teamap...I think that is a mistake, it is more Victorian than true British. If you are looking for a British experience (food and service)try the British Emporium in Upland, if you are looking for great food at a Victorian tea room, try Two a Tea in Glendora.

I visited the Enchanted Rose with my mother, who had never been to a tea room before. It was a wonderful first trip for us both, and I expect we'll be back many more times, with friends and relatives in tow! The ladies were wonderful; very warm and charming. The flavor combinations of the food were surprisingly good [we loved the pineapple/pecan sandwiches and the pimento cream cheese]. The tea was delicious and warm, and the hostess was very patient in explaining the selection to us. Our plates were served and taken away promptly, with minimal fuss. The decor is both charming and elegant, and we both loved the idea that we could wear hats back to our table. It was like stepping back into our childhood to play tea. The hostess was even so kind as to take a poloroid of us to commemorate our visit! Our fellow diners [a Red Hat Society] were fun and very companionable. Afterwards, there is plenty of boutique and antique shopping nearby to keep yourself occupied for a few hours. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience; one that my mother and I will both treasure. Thank you!
