Tea at 1024 is a respite for the weary soul. We have been serving Afternoon Tea since 1999. Voted Best High Tea by Honolulu Magazine, Tea at 1024 welcomes you to join us for a unique Afternoon Tea experience. Located in the Art District of Downtown, Honolulu. We are nestled in a historic building constructed in the late 1800's when the Hawaiian Monarchy took Afternoon Tea.

We visited Tea at 1024 on our last day in Hawaii. It was a beautiful end to our wonderful stay. We were visiting family and all of us went-guys and girls. We all wore hats-which I have never done at a tea room. They have men hats as well- pirate, top hats, etc. They serve loose tea in the pot with strainers. I don't usually like that because it gets bitter, but theirs didn't. It was delicious. The food was very good-especially the scones. The store was set in an old historic building, which I loved. It was a lovely memory to conclude our first trip to Hawaii.

The was such a delight to discover! A friend took me there for my birthday. Then, when my son's in-laws were in town, my husband & I took them. We had a ball! My son's mother-in-law is Scottish and really loved it!

Visited this tea room for the first time as we are new to the islands. Salad was ok. Did not care for the food however as it was rather bland and of no substance. Tea was ok but was not as hot as it should be. We also did not like the area in which this tea room is located as we saw quite a lot of street people around the area. Will not be visiting this place again.

Tea at 1024 is an extraordinary mix of culture, style, eccentricity and pure joy. So much in American is so bland and uniform, but Tea at 1024 is the exception to the rule.

My mom took me to have afternoon tea here and I completely fell in love with this place! it is the perfect getaway from the 'hustle and bustle' of downtown Honolulu. The service there is fantastic and the owner personally came by our table to chat with us for awhile. I loved the preparation of the the finger sandwiches, the tea sets, and of course, last but not least, the desserts.
I highly recommend this place for a light lunch, a quiet getaway from work, a mother and daughter day, a girls day out, or even for just for a simple afternoon tea date.
I cannot wait to go back and I hope to see you there as well!

Thank you very much for allowing me to host my 50th birthday celebration at your wonderful shop. I highly recommend Tea at 1024 to everyone. The service, cuisine, tea, and the style of Tea at 1024 are exquisite. Everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed your space. We had a lovely time with the hats, boa feathers, and special touch that you shared with us. It was the first time my mother, Billie, had the pleasure of your kind of tea service. She was really thrilled and honored that you remembered her from the ABWA craft fairs.

Went to this tea room. The sandwiches were rather dry. Dessert looked like it came from Costco. Will the girls go back there again? No!

Michele,the owner, her granddaughter Sophia and waiter - Lisa, made this a memorable occasion. The spinach and rasberry salad was 5 star, along with the curry chicken and olive-crab sandwiches.Great desserts and the tea -yummmmmm.

The service is really good here. The owner and employee are nice and accommodating. I love the sandwiches and salad. The house blend is delicious (raspberry and rose petal black tea). My only recommendation is that they offer more tea choices. I think that would make the experience even better. Otherwise, good.

A perfect tearoom to enjoy with special friends. I often bring a bottle of Prosecco to accompany the tea service. Tea at 1024 is a wonderful place to talk something over, celebrate, and sip tea.

I don't know how this place got such high reviews on this site. It is a very small place that they cram too many people in to sustain their business. They do not honor your reservations. The food is below average. When your needs are not met the owner has a list of excuses and apologies. Read other review sites and you will find similar critiques.

I had my Bridal luncheon there; with my bridesmaids, sisters, mother, and best friend. It was such an enjoyable experience; the entire party of ladies from age 3 to age 70 picked out boas and hats, and laughed as they curled their pinkie fingers perfectly around their selection of fancy tea cups. The food was wonderful and the service was warm and friendly. Our pictures are great and it is one of my favorite memories about my entire wedding experience.

I took my daughter, granddaughter, and a friend of my granddaughter's to Tea at 1024 and we had a wonderful experience. It was everything I could hope for in having an authentic English tea. The food was simply delicious. They catered to the children also. We took the whole tea experience and I ordered an extra tray of sandwiches which were just peanut butter and jelly. :-) They made hot chocolate for the girls in their own teapot. We picked out hats, boas and gloves. It was so much fun and made great memories. I have pictures. My daughter and sil are stationed there and my daughter works right around the corner. She truly enjoyed it also. Plenty of food and the food was excellent, simply devine. It was truly an experience I will never forget and one I would do again in a heartbeat. I would recommend this place to everyone. After our outing to Tea at 1024, I had to go out and buy my daughter her own tea set, lol.

I brought my Daugher-in-law and my two Grand-daughters, 4 years old and 8 months old and we had a wonderful time here. We just LOVED it. The fun part was choosing a hat, a feather boa, and your tea cup and saucer. The menu is good but we decided on the full tea service which was a delicious sald, 4 types of sandwiches, the desserts and a pot of tea. The cheese sandwiches were to die for!!! Everything was so delicious. My Grand-daughter was very impressed with her hot chocolate and peanut butter & jelly sandwich. Michelle was lovely to meet and chat with and the service was great!!

Our group came on a bad day? It seemed that they had overbooked. They had a big birthday party along with our group so space was very tight! Also the service was very slow and confusing. We were served just one type of tea I didn't see other options it seemed it was a set menu. The tea cup my daughter chose for me had a crack and tea stains in the cup. Because they ran out of small dishes we had to eat our sandwiches from tea saucers. There was hardly any information given by the servers. So I feel the 'tea time' experience was lost on our girls.

Fantastic time was had at Tea at 1024.Loved the quirky atmosphere, good to have a choice of wonderful crockery.Tea was absolutely first class.Scones..hitting a 10.Thoroughly recommended..and we are English!

I had my bridal shower luncheon here and it was so nice. A very quaint place - lots of neat gifts too. Everyone enjoyed dressing up in the hats and boas and picking out their cups and saucers. We had high-tea and it was wonderful. There is also a cute little area in the front window with big chairs that would be fun to sit in. I recommend reservations because it can get crowed.

This is the cutest little tea room in Hawaii. Its an eclectic place and casual enough I feel comfortable bringing my 8 year old daughter and her friends there for a special day out. The owner and her staff always make us feel like we are their only customers. It's a must see in Hawaii!

First experience sampling a variety of teas, but in such a quaint and cozy setting. As you walk in, you select the cup and saucer for your dining experience. There is a variety of hats and feather boas you can select to wear during your stay at TEA at 1024. I would love to visit again. Great place to take a group of friends for an afternoon dress up...
