My sisters and mother threw me a beautiful bridal shower here a couple of years ago, and it was wonderful. The experience was outstanding for everyone involved. I have been back many times along with a lot of the guests from the shower, the day had that much of an impact.

This quaint beautiful place is a wonderfull change to the mondain resturaunts that most people are acusstumed to. It has a large variety of lunch entrees along with many breakfast choices. The food is always well presented and tastes just as good as it looks. Ferns and Flowers is perfect for large parties as well as tea for two. The servive and wait staff are as charming as could be and make you feel like you are there only focus point of the day! I highly recomend Ferns and Flowers

What a wonderful experience!!! My family and friends have had many lunches, breakfasts, teas, and private events here and each experience was better than the last. The food is fantastic! The teas are delicous and cozy. They are a perfect venue for bridal and baby showers or even a small birthday lunch for a friend. The gift shop is beautiful, uniquely designed and full of wonderful treasures. I live in Florida but travel to RI frequently and I stop in for a visit every time. Great place, check it out.

My family and I experienced a very enjoyable afternoon at this tea room/gift shop while on vacation last summer. We preordered the Afternoon Tea for a few of us, and the others were able to order off the luncheon menu. Everything was tasty and satisfying. Would definately return if the opportunity arises.

Terrible! Had previously tried to book tea for me and my sister - was told we could not because they needed a full 24-hours in advance to prepare the food (I called 22 hours in advance). So, when I booked this time, I was looking forward to a nice homemade afternoon tea. I was very disppointed. The tea came in teabags, the scones (if you could call them that) came with an unappealing lemon-yogurt-sour-cream concoction, the sandwiches were soggy, and every single dessert was STALE. Everything tasted as though it had been prepared > 24 hours ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was exactly what they usually did - as we ate, I saw several saran wrapped three-tiered sandwich / dessert plates - it looked as though workers were carrying them to a back refrigerator (for the next day). Would not recommend - will not be going back. Truly a waste of money!
