Dear tea lovers,
I'm so sorry to have to say that after 10 years of serving the best afternoon tea experience in the Colorado Springs area, I have closed my tea room. I put my whole personality and creativity into this delightful business. From decorating, painting the porcelain place settings, providing a wardrobe of hats for guests, preparing all the food (including special dietary requests), playing the harp, and performing recitations, it was truly a fulfillment of my heart's desire! Several life changes over the past year and a half have led me to this decision. It was a privilege to serve so many women and young ladies throughout these years. Many thanks to those of you who "spread the word" and posted reviews and photos. You have given me many beautiful memories. You may still contact me through kathleen@enchantedstringscom. I wish you many more fabulous afternoon teas! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!

Kathleen hosted a wonderful tea party for my daughter. She provides a very comfortable atmosphere, delightful music and tea, and even a poetry recital. She had my daughter trying out her beautiful hats and was very accommodating, due to a food allergy my daughter has, with allowing us to bring some specialty gluten-free foods. The garden is top, with a fountain, fish, and a shady path between the trees with a view of the mountains. Magical. Great attention to details and very well hosted. Thank you!

Kathleen Boleyn's Afternoon Teas are one of my favorite pastimes! I have been bringing friends and family to Enchanted Strings for over six years now and will continue to enjoy this wonderful experience. When you step into Kathleen's lovely Victorian home, you feel transported to a more relaxed, graceful and elegant era where good manners were important. It's always a joy to sit back, sip quality teas along with each delightful course -each presented creatively - as we chat while being entertained by Kathleen's beautiful harp music. We also enjoy listening to one of Kathleen's charming tales. My guests and I have never been disappointed and are already planning a Spring tea at Enchanted Strings!

The tea mistress at Enchanted Strings creates a beautiful enveloping atmosphere in a Victorian style setting that is thoroughly relaxing. I felt transported to a special retreat. The teas and sweets and savories served were absolutely delicious and were of interesting variety. The professional harp performance of charming classics is the cherry on top! I plan to schedule a tea for the women in my family--I know they will love it.

10 of us attended a tea on Saturday for a friend's mother's birthday. We all had fun selecting just the right vintage hat and taking photos. There were several courses presented during the luncheon. Sautéed pears, followed by a savory course which offered several items, including quiches and finger sandwiches. Next came a pumpkin scone course, then finishing up with a pudding. Three different teas were served during the meal (no bags or strings!). Lovely harp music was played throughout by either Kathleen or her assistant Anastasia. And Kathleen recited a poignant personal poem of a harp’s perspective after her mistress has passed. Everything was delicious; the atmosphere was elegant, while remaining casual and comfortable. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

Moms 70th birthday was made all the more fabulous by Kathleen and her lovely tea service. Her home and hats set the prefect tone. The food and teas were scrumptious and the entertainment magic. The harp music and poetry put the cherry on the sunday. Was a little nervous because this was a private home but so worth it. Our party of 8 are still raving about our experience!!

This was my first time going to a tea room and it was a wonderful first experience! Kathleen was so personable and warm. The food was delicious as was the tea that was served. I loved having the harp played while enjoying my afternoon tea, it was very calming and relaxing. I look forward to regular visits to Enchanted String.

My experience was excellent! This tearoom has both quality and personality. The talented hostess, Kathleen Boleyn has created an accurate and tranquil environment to take your afternoon tea in. While you take your tea you are treated to live music provided by the hostess herself. This is one of the best tea rooms I have ever been to. I will most definitely be going back, as a regular!

There were 10 of us who had tea at Enchanted Strings last summer, and it was a memorable experience. The Victorian decor was lovely, the food served was the best I have had anywhere, and the added enrichment of harp music played by our hostess made it an event we will never forget. We want to go again!

I had a wonderful time here with my French exchange student, family, and some friends to celebrate my mom's birthday. It was not my first time there and it defiantly will not be my last! :) It was a wonderful experience and the tea room and garden a beautiful!
