My friend and I discovered this gem on our way to Asheville, NC for a Girl's weekend last year to celebrate my birthday. We decided to stop on our way back and had lunch. OMG it is so beautiful inside! each room is decorated in a different theme with plenty of literary décor. The tea selection is literary themed. I went back for high tea with my niece in September and it was fabulous! Plenty of sandwiches, scones and sweets for the two of us. And the staff is great!!

What a special spot for Afternoon Tea! Great for tea and book lovers. Adorable and unique decor. A great variety of tea choices! Staff has always been wonderful and attentive. Reservations are required for Afternoon Tea.

We visited this room and it was a fun experience. It was busy so and they did their best to provide attention. It was a joy to see each of us excited about the tea experience and I would definitely visit again.

I've been here a handful of times for lunch and each time has been a real treat. Decor is so cute and thoughtful, staff are pleasant. If you don't have afternoon tea reservations, get there early or prepare to wait. There is a good enough variety of teas to suit most any taste. Food is tasty. Cream tea is a good treat; I've not done afternoon tea.
