HEIRLOOMS Tea Room & Special Occasions established in 2008. It is located in the historic L.A. Ritter house, also a former Bed & Breakfast Inn.
HEIRLOOMS is a special ‘By Reservation Only’ venue where your group of 8 - 38 guests may schedule a private event. We host Tea Parties, Birthdays, Red Hat Ladies, Women’s Ministries, Book Clubs, Bible Studies, Girlfriend Getaways, Retirement Parties, and Holiday Gatherings. Our Children’s Dress-up Parties offer a memorable way for little girls to celebrate their birthdays.
We also host monthly “CommuniTea” events - themed tea parties that are open to the public by advanced reservation, featuring our Classic 3-course Afternoon Tea menu:
$25.00 per person and includes:
• 3 pairs of finger sandwiches
• 2 warm scones with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd
• 3 petite sweets
Each course is accompanied by a pot of tea, selected to compliment the flavors of our monthly menu.
HEIRLOOMS is also a wonderful place to host Baby Showers and Bridal Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, and even an intimate Wedding in our private home-like setting.

Our experience at Heirlooms was delightful in every way. Our charming hostess, Audrey, and her assistant Rachel, welcomed us warmly. The food served was exceptional, all of it freshly homemade, and enjoying it in the dining room of the Historic Ritter House elevated it to a very special Tea experience! A wonderful experience. The setting is most beautiful, warm, and welcoming. I've been to quite a few Tea Rooms and this one is included at the top of my list. Our hostess and server were lovely and the drive to Hutchinson was glorious this fall.
I hope we can make trip again sometime.

If you are coming from the Twin Cities, the Heirlooms Tea Room in Hutchinson will be a bit of a drive. But I assure you, it is worth the trip!
When you first walk in the door, you are warmly greeted by Audrey, the owner of Heirlooms Tea room. You are shown to your table, which is beautifully decorated and each guest has a personalized place card. Nice touch!
Each monthly menu is themed around the season and or holidays and so it's always changing. The food is all homemade and delicious! And something unique that Audrey does is she pairs the teas with the food. So each course--finger sandwiches, scones and then desserts, is paired with a tea chosen to compliment each course.
The tea room is a charming historical home that guests are free to wander the second floor and browse the decorated rooms. Downstairs there are hats and gloves for the adults who wish to dress up for tea and upstairs there are fun items for little tea ladies to do the same.
Some of the teas are for sale, as well as a few other tea related items.
You can tell from all of the details that the owner has a genuine love of afternoon tea and wants you to enjoy time there. Heirlooms Tea room is a special experience.

Absolutely delightful Tropical Tea on August 11th. The food and tea were amazing. Heirlooms Tea Room is charming, and Audrey is a warm and welcoming hostess! The afternoon was a real blessing.
