Brightside Gallery is the exclusive home to Carriage House Tea located at 170 Worth Street in historic downtown Asheboro, NC. We are the first and original tea shop, as well as the only state and federally recognized tea company in Asheboro, NC. We carry an ever-growing selection of the highest quality loose leaf teas and tea accessories from around the world. Tea is packaged on site. We would love for you to come and visit our 'tea library' in person. We also offer a beautiful Sit & Sip room as well as an exquisite wrap-around porch on the front of our Victorian mansion! Carriage House Tea is a experience of almost apothecary proportion! The tea, alone, is the best I've ever had ... but the setting adds so much ... you find you want to just linger a little longer each time you go. Stories of the manor, told by the owner, make it extra fun. My cabinet at home is brimming over with CHTeas - the new matcha line is my latest obsession!

Carriage House Tea carries a large variety of loose leaf tea. The staff is very knowledgeable about all their products and accessories. They also provide useful product information. The new Sit and Sip Rooms are fantastic and they offer free tea tastings once a month. I enjoy being able to taste a tea before purchasing it. The staff is always kind and helpful. There's nothing like having a hot cuppa in this beautiful historical home in downtown Asheboro. I highly recommend Carriage House Tea for all your tea needs.

What a delightful place to sit and sip a cup of tea. There is always relaxing soft music in the background and the tea is fantastic, fresh,smooth . Hot or cold i love carriage house tea. Ps on special nights there is free tea tasting

The inside of the shop was very cute but I found the staff to be distracted and otherwise aloof. Perhaps it was an off day or just the lady's disposition. Tea was good.
