On Tuesday June 21, 2016. My two sisters and I when to the tea room at 11:30am. We could not eat there because They had no room because of reservations. We could come back at 1:00pm. Two other couples were turned away also. So if you go there I guess you have to make reservations. Not happy!

I think with some tweaking the Dragonfly Tea Room could be a great tearoom. The quiche was good but over salted which made it impossible for my Mom to eat. We loved the novel idea of putting noodles in the broccoli cheese soup -- it was very good. There were no teaspoons to stir our tea. Had to use the soup spoon. No jams, lemon curd, or clotted cream to go with the scones. The tea selections were plentiful and varied. And several of my desserts were still frozen when served. I would recommend serving fresh desserts from what you have on hand for your Victorian teas as you seem to have a good lunch business aside from teas.

My daughter and I enjoy going to the Dragonfly Tea Room! They have a wonderful room for children. The tea room is so inviting and the tea selection is excellent. The special events for the holidays and for children are so fun! Make a reservation before you go as people enjoy this tea room!

Very poorly organized. We had reservations and the server kept telling me I couldn't have the 'tea' without reservations, when I said I had made reservations, she said I needed to specifically request a 'tea', which I had done. I had to tell her twice who I was and that I had made the correct reservations, she finally understood! Although there is a separate children's room, they had placed a children's birthday tea (with many kids and adults) in the main area, so it was very loud and disturbing. There was only one server for this group and the other tea guests. She was rushed and harried which didn't add to a pleasant tea experience. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. The teapot was placed over a warmer with the loose tea left inside, so the tea became bitter. The tea room did have a lovely gift shop, but more staff and better attention to detail is defiantly needed.

very disappointed mom
Extremely disappointing. Although they say no reservation required, we drove down there & was told reservation only. I told them they should state that on their website & was told reservations are NOT required, but today is reservation only. Really? My little girl all dressed up for her 1st tea room, with her doll, had tears in her eyes. Yet the girl smiled & said sorry, no reservation, we can't serve you. Very rude! Not only have you lost my business, but I'll warn others as well.

I have been to The Dragonfly several times and have had nothing but excellent food and service. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food always has been fresh and hot and the unique selections in the gift shop change regularly, so it's always nice to stop by and see what is new.
I hosted my daughter's sixth birthday party at the tea shop. She had a wonderful time and we received many compliments on the party from her friends and other parents.
My daughter and I also enjoy attending many of the special events the shop hosts for kids.

I loved this tea room. The menu was a little different from most tea rooms but a welcomed change. A wonderful selection of brewed teas to choose from and a beautiful presentation. The waitress overheard that i was celebrationg a birthday(not saying which one) and gave me a little present of loose tea. A very happy, relaxing lunch. I am looking forward to returning soon.

No Tea Today
I will NEVER go back to this tea room. We arrived at 2:50 today and were told the kitchen closed at 3:00 and so the hostess gave us a brochure and suggested we return another day. By the time we started our car, the clock read 2:56 and there was an OPEN flag waving on the porch. We had been shopping & were so hungry! From what I have read here, I guess we didn't miss out on good quality food or tea. The facility did not appear to be tidy and lacked organization for sure. Too bad they don't want business. We never expected or have received such poor service. This place is certain to fail & close down. Choose another place or prepare to be disappointed.

I was visiting my cousin this week and as a tea room owner I always try new tea rooms in the area. We had a very nice waitress, a very good lunch and a nice conversation with the sweet owner. I enjoyed the experience and would go back the next time I'm in the area!
Best Wishes on for your second year.

The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Our server was OK, but looked rather sloppily dressed. Soup would have been better if it had been hot. Strawberry Pretzel Salad was more like
jello. The highlight of the meal was the Brownie Sundae, which was delicious. We'll give it another try sometime. Disappointing when compared to The First Ladies' Tearoom,
which, unfortunately, is no longer in business.

I hosted a baby shower with around 26 people. The severice was horrible and in the middle of opening gifts they brought me the bill and proceeded to stand there until i handed them my credit card. They also started clearing our tables before everyone was done eating. They also started mopping while we were opening gifts. As the hostest of the event I was so embarrassed and will never be back.

I would recomend this tea room the quich was wounderful and Grandma Graden tea tasted was full of fruit flavor. The scones yummy with a dipping sause. Strawberry pretzel salad had to many pretzels for my taste thought. This is a small tea room that is quiet and not to noisy. I will definatly be going back. Their are some other great store in the area that you can do some shopping at while visiting this tea room. Deliciously Different -great chocolates. Candel shop where the make the candels right across the street from the is tea room. Smucker ville is only a half hour away.

I was thrilled to discover Dragonfly Tea Room in the downtown of my hometown of Canal Fulton, OH. The tearoom is in the first floor of a historic home and the decor highlights the original woodwork and home in a peaceful and elegant way. They have a variety of loose leaf teas to choose from (I would have preferred a few more non-fruit or flower black teas). I had their cheese and broccoli quiche with lemon-blueberry tea bread as well as the white chocolate-raspberry scones with Devonshire cream and jam. It was excellent. One of the unique features of the tea house is a children's tea room decorated in purple and fairies. It will seat up to 12 young ladies who will be able to dress up in boas, tiaras, and magic wands as they enjoy their tea. If having a birthday tea party two crafts are included. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope to visit again when I return to Ohio later this summer.
