I just hosted a baby shower here and it was perfect in every way. Corrine, Michele and Darlene provided us with exceptional service and amazing food. Everything was served on antique china which gave the shower that extra special touch. If you ever have the need to host an event and want to take the stress out of it, this is the place. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Abiding in the Vine is a delightful experience. A wide variety of delicious loose leaf teas served to each guest in a chubby teapot with lovely china cups, cloth napkins and table coverings, gorgeous seasonal decorations, and delicious food. My daughter and I had the full tea today and everything from the cucumber sandwiches to the sweets was wonderful and beautifully presented, and the scones with Devonshire cream were better than those we had in England! Thank you Michele and Abiding in the Vine for a special afternoon!

4 generations had a wonderful time at Abiding in the Vine this afternoon. From the beginning it was a great experience. The atmosphere was top notch, the table service, servers and food was excellent as well as an awesome selection of tea! If you are a true tea drinker (like we are!) you will be in heaven. Ages of our party ranged from 3 to mid-80's and they catered to us all. If you are looking for something different than the chain food establishments, want to enjoy laughs and friendships/family, this is the place to come. I sat and envisioned what the walls could tell us if they could talk, and imagined parties still yet to come. Stop by, I can almost guarantee a superb experience.

The food was exceptional with all the choices, and all was very very good. If you are looking for high tea, then this is the place to come, you won't get just a tea bag and a cup, you will actually get your choice of tea, which is all loose tea, and done at your table. I cannot say enough good things about this treasure of a tea house and their baked goods are also very very good.

Today was the 2nd time having tea and lunch at Abiding In the Vine. It was so worth the hour drive. The food is delicious and the variety of teas is great. I purchased 3 different types and a few tea accessories. The dining atmosphere is very cozy and the tables are linen covered, china teacups, it very unique decor. My husband really enjoys eating there too. Only wish it was closer so we could dine more often. Looking forward to my next visit. The Martin's

My husband and I stopped by there today for the first time and found it very nice. As I looked at the menu I saw the ground bologna and pickle sandwich. We both ordered it because it reminded us of growing up and have never seen it on a menu before. Michellece and the place is just terrific. We bought three bags of tea on our way out. Highly recommend it to all.

I had lunch there last week with a friend. I ordered the full tea and it was very generous-I ended up taking some of the sweets home. Our waitress was so very helpful in explaining the various teas and was very attentive. I had the tomato bisque soup which was delicious and so thick you could tell it was made with butter and cream. Our waitress told us it was made on the premises. On your way out there is a selection of many types of curd(I'd only known about lemon) for purchase. I'm so glad Mid-Michigan now has a tea house locally. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

We always enjoy eating at Abiding in The Vine. Corky and her staff always greet us with a smile & are very attentive. My wife & I had never had breakfast there before. It was delicious. I had the French Toast & Pam had the Savory Crepes. 2 thumbs up!! We visit tearooms all over the eastern half of the US. Abiding in the Vine is among the top 2 that we have been to. Try it you'll LOVE it.

MY wife and I travel 27 miles to Owosso once a week if possible to enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality of the staff which starts as soon as you walk thru the door. They ask how have you been? And can we get you a pot of pecan pie tea? which is our favorite. They have an excellent variety of sandwiches on the menu like the Snooty-Fox ! homemade soups....and desserts. I'm a big guy and I still find it hard to have room left for dessert. Yes men do go to tearooms .....COME OUT WITH YOUR WIFE OR SWEETHEART SHE'LL THANK YOU AND SAY HELLO TO CORKY AND THE GIRLS......... BFF BEST FLUSHING FRIENDS

My mother, sister, niece and I had such a wonderful lunch at this tea room. The food was wonderful, and so beautifully presented! We even had an opportunity to do a little shopping in their gift area. Michelle was our waitress, and she was very helpful in assisting us in food and tea choices. I wouldn't change a thing!

My daughter and I were looking for a special experience since we both enjoy tea and we were looking for a break during the holidays. She is part way through medical school, I just had cancer surgery two weeks earlier, and we needed to get away for a short time. The atmosphere was pleasant, the variety offered was exciting, and the service was amazing as they gladly prepared our high tea with our special requests. The food was better than expected and very filling. We ate too much and enjoyed every bite.

Abiding in the Vine is one of my favorite places to eat. I had breakfast there this week with 3 friends and it was excellent. Three of us chose the Frittatas and couldn't have been more satisfied. It was very tasty and was plenty to eat. The presentation as always was good. Service is always very pleasant and not disruptive to our conversation. We have already made plans for breakfast in November.

What a wonderful experience! We hosted my mother's birthday party at Abiding the Vine. It was a pleasure working with Corkie, and Michelle made everyone feel so welcome. I was immediately impressed with the decor -- the beautiful chandeliers took my breath away -- loved the eclectic style. The food was delicious, artfully presented, and kept coming long after I was full! (Ask for their Tomato Basil Bisque) They created a special child's tea for my two-year-old granddaughter and she was thrilled. I highly recommend Abiding the Vine to anyone looking for a unique dining experience, with a touch of elegance, at an affordable price.

I chose the a Chunmee Tiapan Superior green tea and found it flavorable and refreshing.
The Cobb salad with Thousand Island dressing was a good lunch choice and the Tomato Basil soup was a flavorable compliment.

Having only been to one other tea room, I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I walked in, the mouthwatering smell alone told me I made the right decision. As I looked around the room, I was delighted with the ambiance of glittering chandeliers, tables set with delicate china cups, colorful cloth napkins, and silverware, and, best of all, the rack full of hats! The staff immediately made me feel welcome. My sister and I split a sandwich and a full tea, along with four pots of tea. The loose leaf tea was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the experience so much, we're already planning our next trip to Owosso. My only regret is why didn't I go sooner?!

My club, the Curwood Toastmasters, decided to meet at Abiding in the Vine and I'm so glad that we did. The atmosphere (calm yet whimsical) was perfect for our needs- it allowed us to meet, eat, socialize and wear fun hats! While I didn't partake of the tea this time, the food was delicious and the service was top-notch. My nine-year-old daughter who attended with me says this is where she wants to have her next birthday party. Thank you, Abiding in the Vine, for a wonderful experience!

Abiding in the Vine Tea Room is a gem! We enjoyed the full tea - a cup of tea, soup, and an assortment of sandwiches, scones, and sweets. There was a great selection of teas on the menu, and the food was delicious! But what really set Abiding in the Vine apart was its atmosphere and customer service. Everyone was friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!!

We had lunch at Abiding on the Vine on Thursday. What a wonderful experience. The decor was inviting, the food selection and tea selection was wonderful. Our waitstaff was super -- very friendly and informative. Oh, yes -- the food was more than excellent I am planning on going back soon -- and, many times in the future!
You really need to check this out!!! Great place to eat and have a nice day out on the town. We went over to the awesome Shiawassee Arts Center -- really two gems that you don't want to miss!

The new location is fabulous! As you enter the delightfully decorated room you will inhale, involuntarily, the smells of someone (Corky Adams) making something divine! The purple and antique design fills your eyes and calms you immediately. Walking on in and finding your table set with elegant teacups, cloth napkins and silverware tells you this is not like any other tea or luncheon experience you are likely to have had.
My friend and I had the quiche, bacon quiche, and a cup of fresh fruit for our lunch visit. Perfection. Seriously a full 5 star rating! Our server, the efficient, smiling, hugging, Michele Doane, serves with pride and personal attention. You remember that once was the way it was done.
Abiding in the Vine does indeed take you back in time and cause you to breathe it all in. I shall return and suggest you work it into your schedules, as well.
*****. Five stars, excellent experience.

We had lunch here today...love this tea room! The food was delicious and atmosphere very inviting. My husband and I had the Open Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich, which was DELICIOUS! For dessert, he had a lemon cupcake and I had a warmed lemon curd bar...both were WONDERFUL! My husband had the Indian Spice Chai tea and I had a pot of Silver Moonlight Wild White...both were warm and relaxing! Our waitress was attentive to our every need and Corky, the owner, is a very sweet and welcoming lady. We would highly recommend this tea room!

A wonderful experience!! The staff was delightful, the food was superb, and the tea was excellent. We had the full tea. It was what you would think a tea should be: Finger sandwiches, scones, quiche, cute little desserts....all very, very good. I will definitely be telling my friends about it.

Abiding in the Vine is new to our town, and such a charming addition. My husband and extended family have been enjoying the food from 'scratch' and the lovely decorations that change with the season. We especially love the Almond Chicken Caserole. Of course, we always ask 'whats for dessert.' This is now our regular eatry. The staff is friendly and fun! You won't be disappointed.

I took my mother and my two young daughters for full/high tea today at abiding in the vine. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff; many teas (loose leaf) to choose from, including 'bubble gum' tea for my little girls. A very ecclectic menu, all home made. The full tea came with a choice of soup or salad (I had a very crisp salad of mixed greens, real bacon bits, grape tomatoes, a bit of cheese, and balsamic dressing, my mom had the home made chicken chili), then we were served the most lovley display of tea sandwiches, scones with devonshire cream, bacon onion quiche, and pastries....we couldn't eat them all. For my little girls they even had pbj's. The setting was lovley, bone china, fresh flowers, antiques (there is also an actual antique store next door). The staff was very attentive. I can't think of anything they could improve on. Can't wait to go back!
