An eclectic tea merchant offering a wide selection of specialty teas, tea ware, tea related gifts and decor. Owner Marianne Russo is a Certified Tea Specialist who loves sharing her knowledge and her passion for the civility of tea! We offer tea related classes,tea tastings, and special events centered around the many world cultures of tea. Stop in anytime for a pot of tea and light refeshment, or mke a reservation for a full course tea. We also offer custom blended teas for your family, corporate or gift event.
You can find our teas at area Farmer's Markets and Craft Shows,as well as at The Tate House Musem Gift Shop, Pine State Seafood and Grocer, and Verbena Cafe.

We visited Nellie's Tea and Gifts while away in Maine on vacation. Prior to going away, I looked up different tea rooms within an hour of where we were going on Teamap. Nellie's was the only tea room that was willing to work with and accommodate my food allergies. I received an immediate e-mail response and was in telephone contact with Marianne the owner.
We attended Tea 101 and then completed an afternoon tea after the tea workshop. Tea 101 was excellent! We learned about all of the different types of teas and were able to taste all of them. Marianne, a certified tea specialist, had gone to China for training in tea. Her knowledge is excellent!
After the workshop,we stayed for an afternoon tea. The four courses were excellent! From the scones, to the salad, to the sandwiches, and then the desserts. Everything was top notch! I highly recommend Nellie's to anyone looking for a wonderful tea experience. I was extremely appreciative of her willingness to accommodate my food allergies. A+
