WONDERFUL tea house in Mid-Town!!
Went there for lunch on a slow Sunday before seeing a matinee show.
The tea was exquisite, I strongly recommend the Dragonwell. In addition, the lunch specials leave you quite full for a small price. This is an asian tea house, and as such the food, servers, decor, etc are all Asian. For Lunch I had the dumpling sampler box, with which I received 10 dumplings (2 different types, I recommend the Chicken Teriyaki and Pork/Cabbage), a small salad, and edamame, all for $9.95.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. My only caveat would be that the servers, who were VERY friendly, often allowed much time to pass between visits to my table, and finally, the Asian music that played lightly in the background, although beautiful, consisted of only 2 songs on a loop! For a musician such as myself, this was just a little annoying, but I will DEFINITELY be visiting this tea room each time I take the train into the city!

I visited Radiance and had a wonderful tea experience! The food was fresh, healthy and delicious, and my server (Dan) was very knowledgeable and friendly, but not in an overbearing way. He helped me choose a great Keemun to go with my meal, which I had never tasted before. It was high-quality tea, subtle yet spicey. Radiance is a hidden treasure in the city.

I just went to Radiance over the weekend on a whim. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Sampled some of their food, tea, and dessert. The price is pretty decent for the delicious assortments and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to any tea lover visiting or living in the NYC.

Radiance was really amazing. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. The tea selection was extensive. The staff is very enthusiastic (some may think too enthusiastic, but i thought it was excellent). Food was also really good. Plus they're open late! Just watch out - prices are reasonable, so don't get carried away with ordering a little of everything (dumplings/rolls, tea, dessert). When our check came, it really caught us off guard how much little stuff we ordered!

This is one of my favorite tea rooms. The staff is so welcoming and enthusistic. Their Tuesday tea tastings are not to be missed. In addition to serving some of the best tea I've ever had, their food is fantastic. I highly recommend the chicken summer noodles and miso soup. If you are ever the neighborhood, it is a must see.

This is a place of calm and refreshment in the heart of midtown. Hard to believe that it ranks so low - among the best places for tea in NYC. (This is from a long-time green and oolong loose tea fan.)
