My bff and I took our 3 kids (ages 5-9) out for lunch. It was a lovely time. The food was tasty. The staff was knowledgeable and very nice. We will definitely return!

This place was fabulous. We were on vacation in Texas and found this gem. We returned three more times before flying home. This tea room has made a lasting impression on us both. I wish to return!

My daughters and I visited Mitra's Tearoom after attending a performance at Artisan Theater (at the other end of the shopping center). It was a nice treat and follow-up to the show. Mitra's has a very pleasant atmosphere and the food was delicious! We had a nice lunch, enjoyed our pots of tea, and shared a dessert. The service was great and we hope to go again soon!

My husband and I have been visiting Mitra's Tearoom for about 2 months now. We completed our 4th visit yesterday and have added it to our short list of all time favorite restaurants. The food is fresh and the tea selection is fantastic. We enjoyed the mango passion tea and the soups/quiche/sandwiches are phenomenal. So whether you want a ladies lunch or a meal with your husband, Mitra's has something for everyone! Can't wait to go back.

This was a very pleasant experience. I have to admit I was surprised by what I found. The setting was pleasant. We came for a meeting and had a quiet corner in which to meet surrounded by antiques and pleasant smells. The food was presented on china, cloth decorative table coverings. The service was great and the meals arrived in a timely manner. The food was excellent. Beautiful little sandwiches, the tomato basil soup was outstanding. There was a plethora of food from which to pick. I so enjoyed the zucchini quiche. All the food was freshly made on site, and it tasted so fresh. This is a hidden treasure. The meal was reasonably priced. Our water glasses and tea glasses were refilled numerous times. I highly recommend Mitra's Tearoom . Be sure to meet Mitra...she is a delight.

I have found my new favorite tea room! The service was fantastic! The waitress refilled my drink on a regular basis without having to ask. The food was delicious! The sampler plate has a variety of freshly made from scratch items on it. I highly recommend this tea room!

I am a member of a group that meets once a month at different places. This month we went to Mitra's Tea Room and what a delightful time. The food was delicious. What a great experience the whole meal was and the service was great. A couple of us had the watermelon tea and some had the peach tea. One lady said this was the best tea room she had ever eaten in. She and I had the quiche along with the tomato basil soup. We WILL return.

Me and my daughter had a lovely lunch. Our food was exquisitely made. Our table was colorfully filled with edible art. The food tasted amazing and the watermelon green tea was addicting. We have made this our secret getaway and can't wait to go back.

Im part of a group that tries to meet her regularly. This is our favorite spot, they are really excellent. The service is fantastic, and the place is cute. Theyre always changing things up just a little, which is really thoughtful.

They have a huge variety of teas! We have yet to try one we dont like, and we always like trying something new. The apricot is our favorite. But they have all sorts of blacks, greens, flavored, and even fantastic ice teas. They staff is really knowledgeable about their tea, and are always able to answer any questions we have.

The food is delightful. The menu has sandwiches, quiche, soups, salads and desserts. Theres combination options, if you want to try more than one. Again, weve never had anything we didnt like. I love getting the tea sandwich platter, with a cup of soup, small side salad, and seasonal fruit. Its always perfect.

I can not recommend this tea room enough. Weve tried many others in the DFW area and this is the best for combination of service, tea, and food (everywhere else has let us down in at least one of those three areas).

a tea party.

We all enjoyed our lunch the sandwich plate, with wonderful lemon ozo soup and

of course we love the little muffin and roll. Not much on tea but a friend loves it.

Its a nice quite place and everyone is always so nice and helpful.

My MIL and I had a fantastic time chatting and enjoyed the delicious food. I had a grilled chicken salad and she had the chicken salad. The muffin and the small roll was a great beginning with the strawberry butter,. and having a slice of fresh watermelon on our plate not only added color but was a delicious treat. Of course we had to have a piece of the apple caramel cake, which was divine!

This tearoom is located inside an Antique Mall. I have visited Mitra's tearoom a couple of times having a great experience each time. I get the Sample Tea sandwich plate which comes with side salad, cup of soup and three samplings of sandwiches. I always get the iced tea which changes each time. Last time was a refreshing watermelon iced tea complete with fruit infused ice. I love coming to this place just because its different and kinda fun place to eat surrounded by beautiful things. My 5 year old son loved it as well and he is the pickiest eater.

I have been to Mitra's many times and brought a friend who had not been before today. She loved it, just as I do. We had a cranberry/mango tea (I think) which was delicious, salad sampler and a chicken wrap. It was all delicious! I bought a slice of coconut cake to take home, which is yummy! Everything about the tearoom is very traditional, service, food and artistry was excellent. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I work close to Mitra's and they are my absolute favorite place to eat around here. I order pick up here at least twice a week it's that good. Everything is made from scratch from the wholesome soup to the delicate desserts. For a one woman show in the kitchen and the one woman show serving they are an amazing team cooking up and serving the healthiest, most scrumptious food around. I tell anyone asking for a good place to eat to head straight there. Welcoming and warming dining atmosphere in the heart of beautiful antique store. I love it!!!

I absolutely adore this place. The food selection is unbelievably wonderful. Light and delicious, it is the perfect craving quencher. The in house dining experience is relaxing and pleasant, but, they can also handle your pick up orders as well. There can sometimes be a bit of a wait, however, that is totally understandable as the kitchen is a one woman show. All of these divine edibles are made from scratch, even the desserts! I certainly don't mind the wait either as the dining area is set right in the middle of a very eclectic antique shop. I find myself wondering around entertained by all the beautiful sights there are to see. The waitress there is phenomenal too. Super friendly and conversational. If you have the time and the craving for something tantalizing on your taste buds I highly recommend you visit Mitras!

A good friend introduced me to Mitra's tearoom. The food is delicious! Start with a glass of their great tea and ending with one of her wonderful desserts. Added plus is service which is always exemplary. And for me being an antique nut the atmosphere is delightful.

This is my favorite tea room. Mitra and her staff give excellent customer service. The food is always good and fresh. My favorite soup is potato and dill, delicious! I come often and recommend that you give it a try.

Mitra's offers a choice of three kinds of soup and two quiches daily. They make

everything special by using doilies on the plates, frozen strawberries or lemons in the iced tea and sandwiches cut in hearts and circles. They offer an extensive

list of hot teas and three kinds of iced teas daily. After our first visit, we go there

weekly.

Tea was hot and good! Even the cream was warned. Asparagus and mushroom quiche was hot and excellent. Love the poppy seed dressing on the fruit cup. Was very relaxing and felt like high tea. Next time I am dressing up and bringing my girls.

My friend treated me to lunch today. The environment is very charming with a lot of cute antiques to look at. I tried the four berry iced tea and it was amazing. For lunch I ordered the Sampler plate. The tomato bisque soup was very flavorfull. The fruit cup with the poppyseed dressing was very fresh. The sandwiches, quiche and salad were delicious! I really liked the house vinegarette. I tried the double chocolate cake which was rich and creamy. I thouroghly enjoyed everything I tried today. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I just wrote a review and forgot to mention Mitra's delicious desserts! Wow, they are delicious. The Coconut cake is high on my list, her banana cream pie is great, loved the apple cake, coconut chocolate cream pie etc..... She is making me Napoleons for a dinner party! Also I forgot to mention how great it was to get a cup of delicious tea (coconut mango) and then receive tea served in a teapot! Such a fun place to spend a relaxing, carefree afternoon. I also love her soups. I started my journey with Basil Tomato (Great), then Lemon (another Great), then Potato (WOW) then Chicken Wild Rice (Oh my God It was beyond Great)..... You can't go wrong with any of them! Yes, I am a fan!

I discovered Mitra's Tearoom when invited to a luncheon. Right from the start I was very impressed. Being in an antique store made the atmosphere very interesting. The actual Tearoom is at the rear of the store. It's so much fun to browse the store leading to the Tearoom. The whole atmosphere is very welcoming. I love all the teapots and cups and saucers in the room. There's so much to admire! I was so impressed that I've returned with different friends, who in turn have returned with their friends. I eat there a least once a week. We love the varied menu and try a different quiche or soup every week. Everything, without exception, has been delicious. I'm having Mitra cater for me. This is true home cooking. The soups taste like my Mothers (I'm 73). Everytime I try a new one I think it's my favorite! The chicken salad is to die for. Mitra has a wonderful young woman (Vee) who is exceptional. She greets me by name, remembers my favotite hot tea, and always has a beautiful smile. Between Mitra and Vee I feel like I'm visiting beloved family. I urge everyone to visit Mitra's Tearoom, I guarantee it will become a favorite! May I'll see you there!

My first visit to the tearoom was 9-12-15. The service was exceptional, the food even better. You get a lot for your money. I would highly recommend going there some lovely afternoon to enjoy this Tearoom.

This tea room features the same menu provided in similiar tea rooms,,however, the food (each one in my party of 4) ordered was fresh and tasty. The variety of ice tea was out of the ordinary and provided a set of refreshing options the two times I went to have lunch. Is castle becoming one of our favorite places to meet as friends for lunch once a week... Keep up the good work!

Always a wonderful place to meet with friends! The last time I enjoyed lunch here I couldn't decide between the peach and the cherry ice tea. so I ordered the peach and refilled with the cherry . both proved to be delicious! :-)

Had lunch with four friends at Mitra's. Had quite a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches between the five of us. Everyone was pleased with their selections. The ONE waitress did a good job of keeping up with ALL her customers. Quite a nice place. We'll go back again!

My husband and I ate lunch here recently. We enjoyed our lunch, the service was very nice. Only one waiter, V, but she was very good and took care of us well. Our lunch was good and presentation excellent.

Mitra's is one my favorite places to go to lunch. I visit it often before going to the Artisan theater and I have had two special graduation teas for family members. The food is always very good. and their is always a variety of tea. My favorite is the Strawberry Hibiscus ice tea. It is a nice place for an enjoyable lunch and then do a little shopping or just looking around all treasures.

I've been coming here for years. The food is always great. Mitra is such a wonderful cook! There have been times when the service was slow, but I ate here last week and the service was great! Planning to go back next week with a few friends.

The presentation of the food and the taste was excellent. The bread served before the meal was homemade and so fresh. I loved the atmosphere decorated with beautiful teapots ... Mitra has a great taste for cooking, decorating the meals and even her tearoom. I will definitely bring my friends to this place UNIQUE in Dallas!

The food was very good but the service was very slow. There weren't a lot of people there, either. We weren't in a hurry, but would have liked to be served sooner. The breads served before the meal was especially appreciated.

Had my Goddaughter's baby shower here. It was wonderful. They customized the menu to fit with what I wanted. They let us add to their already lovely setting with a few extras. Their food and service was excellent. They are now my new favorite tea room.

Our Antique Vintage Club visited Mitra's teamroom in May and had a delightful time. The food was wonderful from the sandwiches, salads, soups and teas to the pretty and delicious desserts. The service was excellent and this was a feat for we had a group of 16 ladies for lunch. We are from the Dallas area but will definitely make the trip again to visit this wonderful tearoom.

My favorite tea is the Strawberry Hibiscus. The Berry is very good too. The tea sandwich sampler is very good. You get 3 small sandwiches, salad, fruit and a bowl of soup. It's a great way to try a lot of what they have. The service is always great and the atmosphere is nice and quiet.

Originally from Dallas, I am now an out-of-tower and without fail every time I visit my friends we make sure to enjoy Mitra's tearoom. She makes magic with blending favors of teas either hot or cold and her creations with food are always a treat. The Valentine's Tea could not have been more special to sit with good friends among all the special treasures of the Antique Mall and enjoy Mitra's delicious offerings.

I have visited this tea room numerous times and have found the food to be excellent each and every time I have been there. On my visit on 02/14/15 I had the Sandwiche Sampler that was three different sandwiches on different breads and the house salad. Mitra make the most wonderful Hibiscus tea that is so flavorful and refreshing that no sugar is needed. The artistry of the mall surrounds you with old world charm and the service is always excellent.

Come here for lunch on my off day off. Great chicken salad, soups and cute place. Love the homemade baked rolls with strawberry butter, everything fresh.

Mirta's Tea Room is a delightful experience! It's very quaint and cosy with tables and decor beautifully set with with china and memorabilia of past! The food is always first class tasting from teas, soups, sandwiches,quiches and desserts. Love it all!

This tea room is one of the best I have visited. The variety of foods offered and the plate I chose was delicious. Most of all V gave excellent service for our table.

I feel I am always welcome and find rest in a beautiful setting. You crave for

Tucked away inside an overstuffed, dated antique mall, this is a treasure. They do a lot with their less-than-fancy surroundings and offer a tearoom experience that seems to have been lost by so many in recent years. From their homemade sugar cubes and whole-leaf tea to their homemade strawberry butter and breads, the presentation and special touches are delightful. The menu is diverse, yet true to a tearoom. Portions are hearty, and the food tastes as good as it looks -- which is saying a lot!

This is one of the best kept secrets in the DFW Metroplex. I took my son and daughter here for her birthday. This is the first time I had ever visited. The food was outstanding, probably some of the best I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was perfect, very quaint, quiet and peaceful. We were actually able to visit and hear each other! They also have a takeout menu that I am very excited about. I would highly recommend this tearoom to those that are lovers of good food.

My first visit to Mitra's Tearoom was a very enjoyable experience! The appearance of the tearoom itself was so inviting and quaint. I looked at various antiques, knick-knacks, etc. from my seat, while waiting for my order. The BLT plate looked so pretty and tasted delicious! The portion was plentiful, too! My waitress was so friendly and polite. I've already recommended Mitra's to co-workers and actually plan to meet a friend there for lunch today!

Had hot tea (apricot Chardonnay) in a tea pot with my lunch. When I ordered dessert, coconut cake, a second pot of tea was served. It really hit the spot on a cold day. Service was wonderful!

Wonderful experience celebrating my sister's birthday this past week at Mitra's. Food was delicious - especially chicken salad - and the coconut cake was awesome. This place is a real gem and we can't wait to return. The atmosphere was quaint, quiet, and calm, and the service was exceptional.

I brought my Red Hat Ladies here for High Tea and we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of food and a huge variety of goodies. The hostess was so kind, extremely generous and treated us like royalty. The atmosphere was bright and cheery and very 'tea' like. I enjoyed it very much!

Went here for my birthday today with a friend and had a delightful lunch. The peach mango iced tea was delicious as was the chicken quiche and fresh fruit. But most notable was the lemon orzo soup with kale. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent.

What a lovely place for,a nice lunch. Nice background music and atmosphere, and most importantly really good food. I will bring friends and out-of-towners here for a nice experience.

Tea rooms are not all equal and Mitra raises the bar for other tea rooms to follow. I've visited many in the area and Mitra's is at the top of my list. The quality of the food both taste and texture, the presentation, and the price can not be compared. Everything served is definitely a do-over. It makes it hard to have to choose because you always remember the last you had there and it is worth repeating.

I have been visiting Mitra's Tearoom for years and am always pleased with both the service and my meal. The portions are generous as I leave full and satisfied every time. There are different flavored iced teas to choose from every day and the bread pudding with caramel sauce is so soooo good. I have asked the server and all items on the menu are prepared in house!(which is rare these days). I definitely recommend this place. It is fun to walk around the antique mall too! A+

Mitra's t was like finding a Pearl. A cute Tearoom tucked away among Antiques's and collectiables. The flavored Tea's, food, and dessert's were excellent as well as the wonderful service. My new favorite place to dine.

This is my third visit to this lovely tearoom. Wonderful teas, beautiful food presentation and awesome servers create a very pleasing experience. The desserts are just phenomenal!

I am writing this review 2 hours after our wonderful meal. So I am still full and the experience was GRAND! I took my oldest 14 yr old GRAND daughter to the Artisan Theater and then on to Mitra's Tearoom....for a late lunch....

It was almost 3pm and raining, but we found the little room inviting and quaint in the back of the store. The service was warm, this tea menu was like I have ever seen. We were sitted, ordered and waited patiently for it to arrive and we were NOT disappointed...The tea included a tiny pitcher of warm cream and hard brown sugar cubes. We both chose the sampler plate that included ALL their BEST. At first, I thought the price was a bit high but the price included any beverage and dessert. But as the TONS of yummy food arrived in courses and each course was served on beautiful pieces of old china and each piece was graced by a lovely paper doily. We were not sorry we had come. I chose the Tomato Basil soup and my GRAND chose their signature potatoe soup. Both were tasty, and perfectly presented. The platter included the cup of soup, an amazing little roll that we both thought was a cream puff and a tiny sweet muffin both served with strawberry butter. YUMMY!

Then the real platter arrived with a full serving of chicken mushroom quiche, 3 beautiful sandwiches of egg salad,a fruited, nut chicken salad and cucumber cream cheese along with a salad...we both chose the house salad but they also had ceasar. The sandwiches were all cut in shapes...and were generous portions. I made myself eat most of the very good slice of watermelon that topped off the plate. NExt problem was to decide on a dessert from all the choices. Dessert after all the tea, soup,rolls and the plate of food was not needed and we both were not really able to enjoy it but we chose one piece of the Coconut Cake and Chocolate cream pie...and asked for it to go....When it arrived our beautiful waitress excused her need for bringing mismatched forks for us to sample. When was the last time that ever happened? NEVER! I can't even RAVE enough about the FOOD or the Delish...DESSERTS or the TEA......or Mitra's Tearoom or Mitra herself. My GRAND knows I love to cook and bake and I bake a great quiche,a pretty wonderful chocolate pie and cakes...to boot....but she told me....I had someone.....to work against now....

Everything is made fresh and from Scratch and you need it....by each bite.... Was a WONDERFUL day we had.....

That should say it....all!!!

But then I even ASKED Mitra for a job!!!!! Maybe next you stop by I will be helping Mitra in the back tocook and bake....and will welcome you to this WONDERFUL TEAROOM.....if not I hope that we meet one day at lunch to savor.....some more morsels....

I went to Mitra's Tearoom for the first time today on the recommendation of a coworker. I was not dissappointed! Stephanie took great care of me and the food was wonderful! The setting is not what you'd expect for the location - very pleasant, calm and relaxing! I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and look forward to more!

Yesterday was my first time here on the reccomendation of friends. I was thrilled to have been led to such a treasure so close to my home. The food was divine, the tea fantastic and the service superior. I predict many visits to this lovely place in the future.

Mitra is a fabulous cook! All of the food is prepared on-site. The presentation is fantastic as is the service. It is a great place to have a luncheon. I highly recommend Mitra's Tearoom plus the antique shopping after eating will keep you entertained for some time.

I recently had tea with my step daughter an d tried out their new buttermilk pie. Oh my oh my I have found my favorite pie! We enjoyed ourself so much that my step daughter Sunny is going to have her 19ty birthday party here in November

The atmosphere is antique; it was hot and did not have good AC. But I sat right next to the fan and was fine. There was a good tea selection, and the food was good. The service was good, and the shop is big.

This tearoom is what a tearoom should be...the mall looks like a place where you can find a great buy. It's a mystery around every corner. It's not staged like many of the new malls. When you discovered the tea room and its atmosphere was charming and a perfect match to the mall's atmosphere. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. I had the tea sandwiches with a cup of soup and a salad (great price). I truly enjoyed the cucumber sandwich and the egg salad sandwich. It reminded me of my mother's sandwiches and the soup was savory. The service was personal and caring; my favored tea glass never went empty. I was carried away by this perfect gem of a tearoom. I'll be back, again and again.

I was invited to Mitra's by my best friend Apryle who raved about this place! I now see why and I do agree wholeheartedly. Mitra and Stephanie welcome you with open charm and grace. The food is beyond wonderful and hard press to pick a 'fav' I have to pick the tomato basil soup and the spinach/chicken quiche coming in a close second. They were out of the red velvet cheesecake (known favorite) so I will try on my next visit! I have shouted 'this is the spot' to anyone out there who can't help but listen! One of my favorite places to meet a girlfriend for shopping,talk and tea. The food is excellent, service is elegant and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to be treated with style!

I visited on a Thursday . The experience was divinge. A special treat. The Quiche was to die for. I shall return.

The setting was beautiful, the service was impeccable. It makes a perfect location to enjoy the 'girls-day-out' or a 'birthday lunch'. A couple of the sweetest moments were: watching an elderly couple enjoying a slice of the divine coconut cake, and the blissful look on a young lady's face, savouring her lunch in the corner as she was reading her book. If I were a movie director...I'd pick this location for my film. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Mitra's Tearoom is a splendid place to enjoy refreshment and friends in a relaxed setting. Our impromptu gathering of 9 could not have been held in a more inviting atmosphere! This is a hidden gem. Some of the best food and nicest people. If you have not been, you really don't know what you're missing.

The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and since it is in an antique store there is no end of things to enjoy looking at. In addition to being surrounded by beautiful antiques, the decorating of the Tea Room is soft, pretty and genteel.

The food is absolutely wonderful!!! FRESH!

We had the sandwich plate, which is an assortment sampling of their sandwiches, fresh green salad, soup and fruit. The peach-apricot tea is so refreshing, and we love the bread pudding and cocoanut cake.

We highly recommend you try it.

Thank you for hosting our 3-table bridge group for 4.5 hours of bridge punctuated with a lovely lunch. Kudos on service and presentation, which was especially lovely. I had the cherry-something tea and thought it was quite bracing (just what was wanted). The tomato bisque soup was excellent. None of us fell into the deserts, but they were tempting.

I find myself still in the mellowest of places having just left Mitra's an hour ago. My friend Cheryl invited me to lunch and her taste is impeccable! I know Ray and Mitra as they are customers of mine, I have an estate sale business. They told us about their mall and tea room, so we decided to go to lunch. Wow, it was wonderful. Everything was so fresh and very delicious. I had the sampler, which was really too much food for me, but I ate it anyway, as it was so good I couldn't leave anything on my plate. I totally will recommend this tea room for lunch to everyone I know. Stephanie was our server and she was delightful. Mitra is a doll as well, she is so gracious. Thanks again for a wonderful lunch.

Totally 'TEA'rrific! Where do I begin to tell the story of how great our time at Mitra's Tea Room was on March 28th? It was for a birthday celebration. Upon arrival Stephanie greeted me by name and had two tables reserved for us to choose from. My guest chose the table by the water fountain. What a nice background sound that was. As it was our first time visiting, Stephanie presented a detailed explanation of the menu and we split the Tea Sampler and added another cup of soup. My goodness, it was more than enough.

The food was absolutely delicious and very, very filling. Yes, they were tea sandwiches, but nothing stingy here. Mitra is very generous with the filling. You will not leave hungry. First, the Tomato Basil Soup was melt in your mouth delicious. Flavorful chicken salad sandwiches with almond sides. Baby cucumbers used on the cucumber sandwiches was a nice touch. Chunky egg salad. Mitra has turned me into a Quiche lover of her quiche. Don't think you are going to have egg and filler here. We had the Chicken and smoked zucchini quiche - chunked full of chicken and zucchini and a melt in your mouth crust. House salad dressing great.

Awesome presentation! All sandwiches different shapes and food attractively arranged on the platter. Cute individual teapots for our tea. Great selection of teas.

Did I save the best for last? Red Velvet Cheesecake was the dessert of the day. Oh my goodness! Two cakes in one. A Red Velvet bottom, Creamy Cheesecake on top. Moist and sinful.

We enjoyed looking at all the beautiful items around us with Stephanie spoiling us and attending to our every need. My guest of honor cannot wait to return and neither can I.

The tea room experience is one I will not soon forget. The tea selections were outstanding, the food wonderful, the service was above and beyond so thank you Stephanie.

Stephanie offered seamless service with a smile and Mitra's gourmet tea offerings, sandwiches, soups and desserts were delightful. All served on delicate china and tastefully plated. We had a group of 8 and had a delightful time. I do recommend making reservations and highly recommend the service and food that is tucked away in the back of this quaint antique store.

The best tomato basil soup I've ever had. The cherry apricot tea was delicious too!

My mother in law and I went in to the store and as we were looking around at the antiques, we were smelling the food because it filled the whole store up. So we could not leave the store without sitting down and having lunch. Everything was good and it all tasted homemade. We will going there again.

I was taken to Mitra's Tearoom by someone who is known by name there because she's been a long time patron. This was my first time and we went to celebrate my birthday. The Tea Sandwich Sampler was excellent. Very pretty, and filling. Very nice atmosphere. Great service. I look forward returning again and again!

Everybody at Mitra's was so friendly. My wife and I attended an afternoon tea with a group of friends in costume, and we all had a blast! So many places rush patrons; I can't remember the last time I spent an afternoon with friends enjoying each others' company at such a perfect pace!

Love this tearoom. The tea sampler plate is wonderful. Tomato Basil soup...wonderful..the cucumber sandwich with slices of cucumber is a great twist and the chicken salad rolled in almonds...loved it. I do not have any cons about this place. Will definately be back.

I discovered this tearoom about six months ago. I go as often as I can and have taken many friends there. I've observed quite a few special parties and everyone seems to have a great time. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is great. The sandwich sampler, with the three sandwiches, soup, salad/fruit, and mini muffins is my favorite as is the wonderful tomato basil soup (yummy). I love their desserts but keep going back to my favorites - coconut cake, apple pie and banana pudding. Thanks Mitra and Stephanie for providing wonderful food and service.

I scheduled my birthday party at Mitra’s Tea Room. It’s one of the best birthdays I’ve had! The food was great! I loved the tea sandwich sampler! And the flavored teas were delectable! Everyone was sharing what they got because it was everything was so great! It was also a pleasant atmosphere with the antiques all around. It was fun to walk around the antique outlet and find little treasures! I would recommend this tea room to anyone of any age!

I always make sure I go to shop antiques when lunch time in near because this is just the loviest place to sip peach tea and eat delicious food, beautifully presented. We the Red Hat Scarlett O'Bluebonnets had a group of 31 ladies there for lunch. It was one of the most enjoyable outings we have had. Mitra and Stephanie made all the ladies feel spedial. The food was delicious and the service was great considering our size. We will be back for more special treatment.

I just moved back to TX and found that my favorite local tearoom had closed. Had a friend coming from out of town and decided to try Mitra's. At first, I had a bit of trepidation about the location, and the lack of the natural brown sugar cubes which the old tearoom had. But when the Cherry/Apricot Tea arrived, it was so wonderful it did not need anything else! Absolutely heavenly! Tomato Basil soup was delicious, chicken salad divine. But the service was the BEST I have ever experienced. Felt like a VIP. Needless to say, we will be regular customers.

Mitra's Tearoom was a fantastical getaway tucked in the heart of the HEB area. The dining experience began with a perfectly brewed Cherry Apricot iced tea whose natural sweetness paired nicely with the Fall Harvest mini muffins and spread. The sandwiches (tuna, chicken salad, cucumber) are delectable and the specialty soups and salad dressings were superb (the Ranch dressing is to die for!).

My glass was never empty and I was served with genuine kindness and quality.

My sister in law visited from Australia and I took her there for the experience. Having tea served in a pot with all the trimmings made a difference from the tea bag in a cup we tend to get in the US. The ambiance and traditional trimmings make it an experience to enjoy. The food is always fresh and tasty. The dessert reason enough to attend even though we get dainty petite ginger muffins as standard. I love the Tearoom concept and will miss it when I head home. No one does it like Texas.

My grandaughter and my daughter's mother in law took me to lunch on Sunday 7-25-10. I had a wonderful time at this tea room and the food and service was outstanding.

In January we took my youngest granddaughter for her 6th birthday and first tearoom experience. Mitra made it vrhy special just for her and it made a lifelong impression on her because of it. The food is excellent each time we go. Service is exceptional. Stephanie is perfect for this and makes you want to just relax and enjoy and let her take care of you, as does Mitra. I highly recommend this cute tearoom! Stephanie was a great wait person. The presentaion of the sandwich sampler was so cute I almost didn't want to eat! I did say almost! Very good food.

I have gone to this Tea Room almost weekly since they opened, and had a lovely lunch every time. The service is sweetly attentive, the food is fresh and delectable, and it is beautifully plated and presented. Recently I ordered after lunch coffee with cream, and the cream was warmed and served in a tiny antique glass pitcher! Details are charming and cheerful. The mall it is in is fun to wander through and you might find a treasure.

I have been going to Mitra's Tea Room since the second week she opened and there isn't a better Tea Room in the metroplex. The Greek Salad is my favorite, but so far everything I have tried is of high quality. We have had many birthday luncheons there from 2 to 19 guests and the service was wonderful. If you are in the area make a point of going to the Tea Room.

This has become my regular weekly treat...not only is the food absolutely outstanding but the atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that I can take a book and forget about the world. Her chicken spinach quiche is my favorite, accompanied by a perfect caeser salad and fresh fruit. If you enjoy tea rooms or if you enjoy good food and wonderful service, I highly recommend a visit to the Antique Outlet Tearoom...leave room for a slice of moist coconut cake and a walk through the marvelous antiques.

OMG!!! Mitra is amazing. This place has the best food and service. I have been to tea at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and at the Grand Floridian Hotel in Florida. This place beats them in quality and price. The presentation was awesome. The chicken salad sandwiches are yummy with slivers of almonds. And all her sandwiches are shaped. The egg salad is heart shaped. The Chicken salad are round. The cucomber sandwiches are triangles. The scones were white choclate chips and then there were cranberry scones. The fruit tray were blackberries, kiwi fruit, cantelope and watermelon. Very Yummy. The desserts were Chocolate covered strawberries, little chocolate eclairs and a bread pudding type dessert all was yummy and fresh tasting. The atmosphere was beautiful and very dainty and pretty. I have found a new home place. I loved it and will be back. :)

I took a group of seven to have high tea on Sunday and it was wonderful!! The presentation was absolutely stunning. The chicken salad was the best I have had, and believe me we have been to several tea rooms :)

I have visited the tearoom twice now and I can't wait to go back! It is so lovely and the service is excellent. It has a great variety of food (the spinach and chicken quiche is so, so good). I like that the tearoom is situated in the middle of the antique mall because it's just a great atmosphere. The hot raspberry tea is my favorite and she gives each person an individual tea pot with about four cups in it for $1.99. You can't beat the price and the portions are larger than any other tearoom I've been to. I enjoyed the experience and recommend it to anyone who's looking for great food and a change of pace! Wonderful shopping too!

I spent the day antique shopping; many of which had tea rooms. The only one I felt drawn to was this one. The complimentary muffin and roll combo was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The menu offered both healthy and hearty choices. The food was excellent and the charming server was quick and very friendly. I plan on returning with my husband!

I was'nt really expecting the experience i had at all, The atmosphere was so calm and almost sedating, which was truly what i needed to unwind. The cherry iced tea recomended by the waitress was awesome, along with the appearance and unbelievable taste of the food. (which was to die for, I had the grilled chicken salad and it was so fresh, along with the lentil bean soup which had just finished cooking). I would really recomend this to anyone who is just needing to relax and eat fresh made to order food. My husband and I travel the U.S. frequently and one of our hobbies is to visit tea rooms. I must say, I was delighted in finding this gem of a place in the heart of Texas. The aroma of tea is intoxicating, the food delicious, and the owners could have not been any kinder. We also enjoyed strolling through the rows of antique boothes and even found a wonderful treasure (a beautiful 1950's tea pot and snack set). They have a variety of them from all eras. I highly recommend a visit...it will be worth your time.

Words are inadequate to express the delightful experience I had at this tearoom!! I was the one to organize a surprise 60th birthday luncheon for a close friend. The owner was most accommodating, kind and helpful and surprised us with a special touch of personalized menus waiting on the set table. The presentation was beautiful, the food outstanding and delicious, and the precious waitress was exceptionally attentive throughout the entire time we gathered. You could not find a more wonderful experience if you are planning a special event or if you are wanting a quiet spot tucked away in a garden setting with beautiful soft music playing in the background. A delightful place to sit with friends and enjoy a superb luncheon. My favorite, along with the refreshing flavored tea, is the quiche served with sides of fruit and salad. As well, you are surrounded by touches of elegance which all total up to a wonderful experience!

I was so pleased with this Tea Room. The service was excellent and the owner is so kind. The food is wonderful! My favorites are the quiche and the lentil soup. The desserts are also fabulous. And I can't forget to mention the delicious flavored teas. Exceptional! The presentation of everything is so beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. I will definitely come back and recommend this to everyone!

a wonderful place for group meetings. Just had a large Sunday school group & everything was top notch. Highly recommend.

I came with a few of my girlfriends. Was so surprised to find this adorable tea room. Food was great. Dessert was amazing, and everyone was so kind.
