This is such a quaint hidden gem in Montrose. Beautifully decorated, cozy atmosphere and two very lovely ladies who are very kind and welcoming. The scones are to DIE FOR! They are served warm from the oven and that alone with tea was heavenly. The sandwiches were wonderful! It was my first afternoon tea and I loved every moment, will definitely go back!

What a delightful tea room ! The hostesses were so friendly and welcoming - shop was very busy on a Saturday with a bridal shower and various tables but service was very fast & friendly. I have the impression they are also open weekdays so be sure to call.
I love that you can just 'drop in' for tea.

Beautifully decorated tearoom. Lovely teacups. The owner is always very nice and accommodating. I love coming and love bringing my friends here. The tea variety is excellent. The sandwiches include smoked salmon, egg salad, cucumber, and chicken and lingonberry. My favoriate sandwiches are salmon and chicken and lingonberry. The scones are just OK. The desserts are very good. I think foodwise, it's OK, but I just loving here for the decor. The owner did a very good job on that! Also the tea room is just minutes' drive away from the Descanso Gardens. I usually like to go to the gardens right after I had afternoon tea here.

This tea room is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You almost feel as if you're having tea with close friends. The food is delicious, served beautifully on three tiers and the Russiam cream is to die for. You can relax, enjoy the tea and sandwiches without feeling rushed. The beat tea room experience I've had in a long time.

Not only does this tea room deserve 5 stars but it simply needs to voted the most beautiful tea room EVER! It's not stuffy, it's so elegant and charming and well decorated. I think the owner is an interior designer/celebrity chef! AND obviously you can taste from the fresh ingredients and unique comparing the sandwiches are made from! AND their pastries are heavenly! I just adore this place. HAVE BEEN A REGULAR FOR 5 YEARS NOW! This should say a lot SINCE i'm super picky! FYI, there prices are super affordable, 21 dollars for high tea!!!!

This is a beautiful tea room. The atmosphere and decorations are simply magical. The tea selection is excellent: it will please all tea-lovers. The food is freshly made and delicious except for the sweets. I agree with the other reviewers that the selection and quality of the pasty is poor and not up to par with the rest of the tea room. I wish the owners can read this and make changes. For a tea room of this quality fresh home-made pasty is a must.

Although the T Room has been a favorite for several years, the scone and desserts have suffered in this economy. The desserts used to be all home made. Now the lemon cake and chocolate cake pieces are clearly cut from cakes bought at costco. The other desserts taste pre-made or possibly from frozen packages. The owners are very wonderful and the service is always great. But if I'm going to pay $22+ for an Afternoon Tea, it's got to be worth the moola!
