This is one of my favorite neighborhood places for tea. I can order one of many wonderful varieties of tea served in a lovely Japanese iron pot which I can share with a friend. They also have wonderful scones or other snacks made in the shop and a fine collection of newspapers and other things to read if I just want a break! Steve has a successful formula and this is really one of my favorite spot to go at least once a week!

What a surprise to find a large variety of tea here. And it's all loose leaf, no prepacked bags. Steve was there and he explained his inventory in detail, seemed to know his tea stuff pretty well. Get the cranberry scones!

Steve's has a wide variety of blacks, greens, oolong, and infusions; all are loose leaf. There are even samples easily at hand. Monk's Blend is one of my favorite black teas...
