At '512,' hundreds of teas are available to choose from. The owners are very knowledgable about all the aspects of tea. Food served here is quite delicious. My husband and I have eaten here and love the elegant variety on the menu. The Victorian decor makes you feel that you are in a very grand, very special place. The owners have led very interesting lives and love to tell about experiences from their travels around the world. This is authentic, the real thing on the teahouse circuit, and a memorable place to savor old world charm. Phyllis & Kevin

My husband and I found this tea room delightful! They were just about to close, but the couple insisted we come on in and enjoy lunch. They were very gracious and gave us a wonderful tour of the house and back yard accompanied by their wonderful stories.
This is definitely not a place for children and I actually commend them for not allowing young children to ruin the atmosphere. I love kids to death, but bring them back to a tea room when they are old enough to learn and enjoy.

Hosted by one of the most fascinating tea room ownersI have had the pleasure to talk with, the FiveTwelveCollege Tea Room provides an experience simultaneously relaxing, delicious, and educational. A regular full-course afternoon tea is served with a select number of loose leaf teas. Everything is done with an eye to tradition, including the shapes of the sandwiches - soldiers, diamonds, and butterflies. The owner has been all over the world and is full of wonderful stories about tea she has had in far away places. A wonderful place all around!

We had a great visit. Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. I can't imagine why you would want to bring a small child here though. It would really ruin the ambiance to sit and listen to a fussy baby. I would never bring my 6 month old to a place like this because I feel it would ruin the experience for everyone around us if she cried or fussed.

If you are trying to visit this tea room with a young child, you may want to think twice. My family took me here for my birthday, and we were turned away after a rude employee asked us to leave because my 9 month old son was hungry and making noise when we first walked in. I would never even consider returning to this establishment after the way we were treated!

This is a wonderful place to go to relax and have a great meal. The music is nice and the wait staff is great. The house is so inviting and no one tries to rush you out,as they
invite you to stay as long as you want.

Excellent service, ambiance, price, and location. The place to go to entertain and enjoy friends. The menu changes frequently so you can become a taste testing regular.
Don't miss Monday nights is music is 'your thing'. Bring your own instruments and/or love of music for good cheer.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Tea House for a bridesmaids' luncheon. The food and service were terrific. Rhonnie's knowledge and attention to detail were impressive. I had a fun and relaxing afternoon and plan to visit when I'm in the area again.

I really enjoyed the tea house. It reminded of having lunch at a friends. I think this would be a lovely place for a party, shower, or just lunch with the girls.

I really enjoyed my tea time. It was such a lovely place and the atmosphere was such a great getaway from the city. I would recommend it for a baby shower, bridal shower, or just a time to get together with your girlfriends.

What a treat for the palate! Since many of the condiments are grown in Rhonnie's garden the food is rich with flavors you have long forgotten. Rhonnie and Alfred are not intrusive but will gladly share stories of the house and the area. I cannot wait to share this lovely tea room with other friends.

What an absolutely wonderful way to spend my birthday. Good friends, excellent food and delightful setting at the tea house. It was certainly worth the drive and I will be back. Rhonnie and Alfred were so accommodating and I loved the history of the house and their travels picking up their various collections of history.
