  This place is one of the few that are still around and it is still amazing. I took my wife here for High Tea as a treat and while I normally feel out of place in tea rooms, this one just felt comfortable rather than overly feminine. Great food, service, atmosphere, etc. We will be coming back. Note: they apparently stopped doing Sunday brunch a number of years ago.

  The lunch hour is bustling and fun. My favorite is the quiet enchanting atmosphere for dinner in the evening! Its so perfect around the holidays

  Love this little tea room. It's much more than just tea ... the food is fabulous. I've never been disappointed.

  They now have a Sunday Brunch (11-2)which is served buffet style it is simply amazing! The food was great service was good! I will deffenitly be making several trips back!

  Very cozy - if you go in the evening, they do not have a liquor license so you can bring your own wine. Very reasonable, the salmon is wonderful as is the spinach dip.

  I loved the cozy atmosphere of this quaint restaurant. The menu was diverse and the food delicious. The tuna sandwich is to die for! I recommend stopping in for lunch if you're ever in the area.

  I didn't feel it was a good area. A little scary. The outside was very poor. The inside proved much better. The look was not what i would call a tea house. Maybe like an old grandma's barn decorated. The food was not good.

  I happened across this location on Friday while driving a different route to work in St. Louis, and we went on Friday night for drinks and dessert. The environment is beautiful, the food is spectacular, and the service and attention are beyond compare. We'll definitely be back, as we enjoyed it greatly and look forward to trying many menu items. Definitely don't miss their 'signature' dessert!

  I love going to the Garden Gate Tearoom! My husband is in the Air Force, so I seek out places like this when we move. It is beautiful inside and the food is delicious! I am glad they are open a few evenings and was the place I picked for my birthday dinner with the whole family! I especially like the decor and atmosphere of the Garden Gate Tea Room....enjoy! :)

  Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely decor and food was excellent. Raspberry iced tea is the best. Loved the Taco pie and Santa Fe salad. The dressing for the salad was yummy. Presentation and Service excellent. What a nice change from the hustle bustle of today's fast paced world.
