      This place was great when they were Townshend’s but it has tanked since rebranding under their kombucha name. They remodeled the location and now it looks as cold and corporate as a St*rb*cks. They cut the tea selection from at least 40 varieties to about 7. The staff turn over since the rebranding has been noticeable and the new staff seem much less knowledgeable about the few teas they still serve. I do, however, leave 1 1/2 stars for keeping the excellent Earl Gray Creme blend, which makes a tasty London Fog.

      This tea house is just as bad as the one in bend. The tea is lower in quality and the employees are arrogant. I have traveled all over China and the tea townshends carry's is a joke. It tasted old and stale like they aren't selling through it.

      Great Tea! Friendly service and terrific atmosphere...music selection eclectic. Wifi is great for computer times and there are plenty of games to choose from and comfy places to sit. If you haven't checked this place out...do yourself a big favor.

      Simply sublime! While sipping my delicious pot of tea, I was able to fulfill 50% of my Christmas list right at Townsends - after all, what better gifts for one's friends but gorgeous tea sets and pounds of exotic teas to accompany them.......atmosphere is enchanting. Great mix of people! Lovely service.....

      Hard to say whether the vast tea selection or the cool atmosphere is better at Townshend's. Both are great. I understand they've just opened another store in Bend for the lucky folks in Central Oregon.

      Great place to sit, read, listen to music or play games while enjoying a cup of tea. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, huge selection of teas, free wi-fi, awesome bubble tea.

      On Last Thursdays they usually have some sort of live music event or art show going on at the shop, which is fun to stop in for.

      Highly recommended!

      a very low key, extremely friendly staff serving an awesome assortment of tea--many organic. very Portland in atmosphere, you can sit and surf on their free wi-fi or sit outside and check the alberta arts scene. highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
