I live on the east side of the state and only make it over to Seattle every couple of months. But every time I go I have to make a stop here to sample some teas and bring home a good supply of my favorites and new discoveries. The furniture imports and tea sets on display add nicely to the atmosphere and the owners are very friendly. They have a great inventory and selection, and while some of the teas may seem expensive at $150-180 per pound, there are are less expensive varieties, and they are happy to prepare any of the teas to sample... plus you can purchase just a couple of ounces at a time. But believe me, that top-shelf jasmine pearl is worth it.

I was passing by and decided to stop in. She made me and the 3 other people I was with a whole bunch of tea samples. We sat for a good 45 minutes and talked with her about all the tea she was letting us try. It is a little spendy, but the service is great!
The place is very small. It only has one long table (that is made out an old log. Very cool.) and there is one person working at a time who will serve you. They don't serve food that I know of. They also sell some really cool vintage looking furniture and tea sets.

This is the best Tea shop I have ever been to. The most helpful and knowledeable Owners I have found at any business anywhere. They are always answered my questions. I try the Competition tea,Monkey pick, and Dragon well tea. It is very good. I like them all. I have started purchasing my tea exclusively from the New century tea house & furniture store.I will keep going there in future.(Thanks Grace Li!)

Wonderful family run shop with great prices. Good quality greens and oolongs (Chinese). Wonderful selection of gungfu cups, yixing pots, trays, and furniture to check out. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, though it does get quite busy. The owners are always happy to brew you up a taste of whatever you like at an immense solid driftwood tea table. This is one of those places where it can be hard to leave due to the great offerings and friendly air.
