Although this tearoom specializes in flavored teas, we were graciously accommodated when we requested, instead, strong black Indian tea. However as the beautiful bone china teapot was not served with a tea cozy or a lit candle stand to keep it 'hot', the last 'pourings' were only 'lukewarm'. Also, the food servings, although quite delicious and served in and on charming china and glass dishes, were quite meager in number. The $7.95 tea offers only two small scones and the $16.95 '3-tier' tea offers the same two small scones, one sandwich cut into four wedges with the crust still on and three 'one-bite' size pastries. However, despite the small amount of food served, 'Afternoon Tea' at 'The Silver Sycamore' was a delightful experience. The tearoom is quite lovely, peaceful and beautifully decorated! Truly a great place to spend the afternoon with dear friends and loved ones.

I have been to this tea room numerous times and have always been wonderfully satisfied with the food, service, cleanliness, and overall presentation. A great place to hold a reception was never unsatisfied Jackie and her staff did a great job. I highly recomend the Silver Sycamore Tea Room

I've been to this tea room quite a few times, and I attended a wedding at this reception hall, and I'm sorry to this person below me, but you are sadly mistaken. This place was absolutely wonderful, the owner, Jackie, was completely submerged in her work, and it came out beautifully. Maybe your experience wasn't as great as mine, but maybe you didn't open your eyes wide enough to see all the hard work her staff and her put in to these events. So, if you're looking for a place I would strongly recommend the Silver Sycamore Tea Room and Reception Hall, because there have definitely been way more great reviews than bad, and it is truly a wonderful place. Forget this person's extremely rude comment.

I do not reccommend this venue for a wedding if this was the last place on earth. The 'wedding coordinator' Jackie was highly unprofessional and had no knowledge of how an event is supposed to run...not to mention the customer service that we received was awful. If it wasn't for hiring an outside wedding coordinator, I'm not even sure the wedding cake would have been cut! If you are looking for a beautiful location with horrible staff...this is the place for you. There are VFW halls that would have been a better choice for my wedding.
