A group of people stands in front of the door in the evenings making traffic for others. You have to cross the street in order to pass through that place. I would suggest the owners of the tea lounge pay more attention and see what's going on outside the doors. Otherwise it seems like this place is provocative and may lead to unnecessary fight.

The Tea Lounge is full of old couches and comfy chairs that people hang out in for hours. In the afternoon, you'll find moms with strollers. Late night, it's hipsters with laptops. If you want a high tea experience, go elsewhere. if you want a very relaxed neighborhood spot, this is your place... if you can find a seat. In spite of the name, tea is not quite top priority here. They serve wine, they serve sandwiches, they serve pastry. The tea is good quality, 20 or so varieties, whole leaf, but they put it in a pot, give it to you at the counter, and (sometimes) say 'you should let this steep four to five minutes.' You carry it to your table and take it from there. Some counter people are, shall we say, indifferent, while some are fun and helpful.

This place is very good at pouring boiling water poured over stale tea leaves. They also use tiny little strainers that don't allow the tea to circulate int he pot. Very low quality. Stick to the coffee. Decent atmosphere, though certainly not peaceful. More of a college vibe, loud music, etc.

Great place to lounge. Barista's are friendly and open and good for conversation. Place gets very crowded, but it also puts people in a good enough mood to deal with it. Great place to sit down with a laptop and some work, just tip if you're going to have them clear your place, it's only fair.
