Anne, the owner of the Sinking Springs Herb Farm and Teahouse is amazing. I took my friend for her birthday and everything was fantastic! Anne even baked a birthday cake for my friend. The food was excellent!!!!, and the gardens are beautiful. A MUST see. It's just a little bit of heaven!!!

I happened to be in the area and stopped in to have tea at Simplici-Tea. What a gem of a Tea Romm this one is. From soup, salad, sandwiches to desserts, the food was delicious and homemade ~ the best... Each month's tea menu is different. Please, don't pass by this tea room without experiencing, you will so happy that you did. Enjoy!

Hi, My daughter, Dawn, and I visited your Tea Room in August, 2010. We had such a lovely time at your establishment. The food was outstanding!!!! You won't walk away hungry here... After Tea, we walked through your lovely garden. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

    Tearoom response:

    Mona,

Thank you so much for your very kind words. I do hope you get a chance this spring to stop back and see our gardens, as we have between 25,000 and 30,000 tulips, daffodils and hyacinth blooming.

Dear Disappointed Mom, there are several good reason why children under 5 don't belong at a Tea Room. Peace, quite, relaxation! I go to Tea to enjoy myself!, not to listen to a baby cry or a toddler run around. Tea Rooms are for adults. Most Tea Rooms have a no under 5 rule, some no under 8. Good rule!

  • The Casual Cup

My daughter and granddaughter joined me for Tea today, and what a wonderful Tea it was. The food was absolutely scrumptious!!!!! We were served cranberry/walnut scones - these were one of the best scones I have ever eaten. I love how they are round instead of triangle in shape, this way they are slightly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside...no dried up scones here!!!! And, the food is yummy! You can't go wrong here on any lunch selection you make...

    Tearoom response:

Mona, Thanks so much for contining to visit the casual cup! It's always a pleasure to see you, and we appreciate your kind words. We'll see you again, soon!

I have not had a chance to visit your Tea Room yet, it's on my list. In answer to Jan 2/13/10: Tea Rooms are not for children for a reason. We want to go to get away from all that and have a peaceful, relaxing, pampering time. Most Tea Rooms have an age limit for children, it's 5 - 8 yrs of age. That's why they didn't have a highchair or booster. Why on earth would you take a toddler to a Tea Room. Not very considerate to the other patrons.

  • Tea On The Tiber

My friend, JoAnn, and I try to meet once a month for Tea at different Tea Rooms. I must say that Tea on the Tiber is an absolutely beautiful Tea Room. I love Victorian style Tea Rooms. Your establishment is lovely. The food, view, decor, and service was wonderful. I hope your business prospers. I have already told a number of my friends about our wonderful experience.

My friend, JoAnn, and I had a wonderfully, relaxing tea at Chef Dani's Red Brick Bakery and Tea Room. The atmosphere, friendliness, food, and tea selection were outstanding. We will definitely visit again. Great job Chef Dani

I STOPPED IN FOR A TEA AND SCONE TO TAKE TO TAKE BACK TO WORK. THE TEA (HOLIDAY BLED) WAS EXCELLENT. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE BLUEBERRY SCONE WAS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I WAS DROOLING ALL THE WAY TO WORK THINKING ABOUT THE SCONE, BUT WHEN I BIT INTO IT --- SO DRY THAT I CHOKED ON IT. I HAD TO TROW THE SCONE A WAY. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED. I WON'T BE BACK.

  • Timeless Cafe

My granddaughter and I visited the Timeless Cafe in August 2008. It's not your normal tea room, it's more like a yuppie coffe house. It was very nice, the food was good, but I prefer a more traditional tea room.
